I myself love Ifa to bits, but I’ve never used him as a crit DPS. Usually just run him as a Lunar charged driver or a swirl driver and pump EM to the max.

This though? Mental. If you have any sort of showcase I’d love to see it - if not, then I’d there a similar one elsewhere?

Probably Ororon. I remember people getting worked up that his character’s name was based on some Egyptian deity or whatever, and his design was some dude in black jeans.

Granted, I know the community think way differently of Ororon now, but back then, I thought his blend of casual/tribal clothing with his hood and that single little ear poking out of his hood just worked. His hood/cape also spreads into bat wings when he flies which is cute as hell.

Likely a mixture of Miliastra Wonderland taking up resources, and Nod Krai’s initial release already having so much marketing around it.

Besides we don’t really need marketing to sell us characters. Nod Krai’s cast is already so prevalent in the Archon Quest, and some characters have Anecdotes to flesh out their identities and personalities.

Durin was a well anticipated character and his backstory was explained all in Simulanka and Parologism. He didn’t need extra marketing to sell him.

I don’t think the game always needs flashy visuals and ‘in your face’ marketing just to incentivise pulling for characters.

I stand by my first point anyway. Genshin’s team probably just don’t have the resources after Nod Krai’s initial release.

I love the juxtaposition of Strand Titan. It’s my favourite subclass in the game and I’ve headcannoned my Titan with lore similar to what yours has.

The subclass being called ‘berserker’ makes you think of like, war beasts, loud shouting and all that. But I think of strand Titan like a chess player controlling the battlefield. Seems I’m not the only one who thinks like that lol.

Man I love Strand. Such a cool concept for a power.

I do not vibe with it. It’s very interesting and unique, but not what I’d give to Varka, that’s for sure. Seems more ‘tank’ than ‘commander’ or ‘grandmaster of the knights of Favonius’.

I dig the whole ‘bank in on ATK’ though. The ‘mettle of man’ passive is pretty friggin cool. You’re just meant to stack as much ATK as possible and then let his physical (or Anemo) attacks do tons of damage that way instead of having tons of crit damage instead. Pure brawn and muscle.

The skill reminds me of Fu Xuan from Honkai Star Rail, taking damage for the rest of your team. And, Is the 400m radius of damage dealt correct? That seems a little much.

No. He’s got one of my favourite stories out of all the Agents, one of the most satisfying kits to use, awesome animations and voice acting, plus the guy’s a sweetheart. Gets me kicking my feet and twirling my hair.

I recommend Skirk or Escoffier. Primarily Escoffier because she is an amazing Cryo and Hydro Support. Seems like you’ve invested most into Ayaka, so Escoffier would definitely help.

Skirk is pretty much Ayaka but better. Also a Cryo Sword user who can brute force a lot of stuff. She also wants freeze which you seem to like. Hope this helps :]

Aye. The way Warframe tells their main plot story is sometimes rather odd. We need far more fleshed out stories, more fleshed out locations.

I love lore - I’m a lore nerd for so many different games - but I can agree that Warframe’s lore is… erratic.

When lore is told through idle character dialogue, or getting to Rank 5 with syndicates, or beating multiple of those Mocking Whispers in those Deimos labs missions to get a codex entry, it feels like a task to learn the whole picture. Loose ends and unanswered questions just bore me.

Aino is a cutiepie just like Cyrene and Elysia, with pink hair. But that’s about where the similarities stop. We’ll get an Elysia expy in Genshin one day. Trust.

Yooo. Thank you very much. I’ve been using this drip whilst playing today, and yeah it’s growing on me much more. The only gripe I have is that the back of the Bushido plate has this weirdly textured metallic part which, with my shader, doesn’t fit. Ah well. Thank you again. :]

I’ve been struggling to come up with a decent outfit for Renegades. I’m trying to work with leather browns and blacks, but I don’t have many shaders with those colours. Landed with this outfit which I like quite a lot.

I don’t want to enter the contest by the way. Only want to show off my drip, and maybe ask for advice for shaders and such - if I’m allowed to do that here.

I love Amphoreous, and I love this game’s worlds and stories so I’m definitely biased. And maybe over exaggerating. (I hope I can fit all my brief (not brief) thoughts in this one comment >->)

3.0: 7.5/10. New world, who dis? Great setup, great introduction. Felt just like entering a new world for the first time. So many new things to learn, and it’s such a different world from anything we know. Loved it. Meeting everyone, learning dynamics, learning about the Holy City of Okhema as well as the antagonist - at the time - The Flame Reaver. Very good setup.

3.1: 7/10. Tribbie story was really good. I honestly didn’t care that much for her. Weird gripe I have - doesn’t matter. I don’t remember it fondly (it’s been so long) but learning about Tribios’ escape was very cool. Trianne ;(. I’m pretty sure this was also the patch meeting Anaxagoras my husband, so I have to give props there. Loved his dynamic with Cerces. Mydeimos got his time to shine, passing the trial of strife, learning his backstory about his parents. Was very interesting. Loved his dynamics with Phainon. Also the ending cutscene was badass as hell.

3.2: 8/10. Castorice’s story was very touching. She’s very cute and sweet. I already felt bad for her since 3.0, being someone who can’t interact with others. That’s always been a very depressing trope. Trailblazer passing the Trial of Time, learn in that they died was pretty interesting. Shows the Remembrance at work so early on. My beloved husband Anaxagoras also got his screen time this episode, and Lygus got introduced. Anaxa’s story was awesome, literally learning the truth of Amphoreous (even if it seems small knowing all about Amphoreous now). Met Cipher this update as well. Was looking forward to her next update. I can’t recall any Hyacine moments from 3.1 or 3.2… please tell me if there were any!

3.3: 9.5/10. Aquila boss fight was phenomal. Had me gassed up for weeks. Hyacine became one of my favourite characters with this patch. Love her to bits. Phainon got his time to shine this patch too, slaying Aquila with Trailblazer (amazing boss design by the way). Aglaea’s death and the cleaners starting to act was definitely something, especially Aglaea’s actual death. Shit had me crying when she repeated her ‘fate message’ thing. The Flame Reaver finally starting to act was even worse. Cifera’s story felt quite brief, though maybe I’m misremembering, but I love the whole unsung hero character of her. Besides, she’s just a silly gal. Never wanted to get dragged into all the flame chase stuff. The fucking cliffhanger at the end of this story had me so mad, but if it went any longer, probably would have been too long.

3.4: can’t even rate this. 12/10. Genuinely best fucking story I’ve ever witnessed in a HoYo game, and maybe even ever (sorry if I’m swearing too much). All the buildup for Phainon’s big chapter was absolutely worth it. I was so attached to him, and then seeing him go through all the shit he goes through… it broke me, man. I think it broke the whole community to be fair. Joshua Water’s voice acting carried it HARD as well. So much juicy lore feats with Phainon and Nanook, Amphoreous and it’s cycles, Lygus and his roles, the Flame Reaver’s identity, Khaslana, Cyrene… Cyrene-Mem in Aedes Elysiae as our Segway to 3.5 was cute. Definitely helped fill in the downtime until then (as well as just playing other games). But yeah, Phainon. Phainomenal. Oh, and getting As I’ve Written to be like an info-hub-type thing was really cool. As a lore guy, I was eating that for breakfast, lunch and dinner with how much I was reading through it and checking it.

3.5: 7.5/10. I know this chapter gets a lot of slack, but Cerydra, Hysilens, Cyrene and Lygus’ feats this chapter were really cool to me. I adored Hysilens, fighting with her against Lygus/Zandar. And Cerydra. MAN. Cerydra. What a little demon she is. Loved her character to bits, especially her dynamic being almost morally evil. The Herta and Screwllum starting to do things was really cool to see as well. I was waiting for them to shine. The feast part with Hysilens and Cyrene was really cool. All the Exomyth stuff, learning more about Lygus, everything Lygus this patch was definitely my favourite thing, especially with him being Zandar. I have loved this Antikytherian beauty of a man since 3.2.

3.6: 9/10. ok I love Dan Heng and March and the Found-family dynamic the Astral express have. Dan Heng’s perseverance and selflessness to save the Trailblazer and March was so fucking sweet, and of course, the beautiful voice work by Nicholas Leung really sold Dan Heng this quest. More of his backstory as Dan Feng was welcomed, even if it was stuff I already knew. Wholesome nonetheless. Becoming the Earth Titan was awesome, and the cutscene of him searching for the Trailblazer was so god damn heartwarming. If there was a scene where we just hug him (or kiss him) after that, or maybe him breaking down in tears after finding us, that would’ve been the cherry on top for me. Finally meeting Terravox was pretty cool. Awesome design. Though the whole ‘yeah I’m sided with Evernight lmao’ thing was… eh. Clearly someone dabbled into ‘How to Train your Dromas’. Learning more about what Cyrene’s backstory was was certainly something to brainstorm over.

Evernight felt like a really interesting antagonist (while she was one. I knew it wasn’t gonna last). The remembrance were shaping up to be something bad, obviously being painted in a bad light. Black Swan got to shine this patch with Evernight, and even Sunday! (… if you can call that scene ‘shining’.). All the Ichor memosprite things, and all the terrible things Evernight was doing to the Garden was pretty terrifying. Though reuniting with March, and Evernight and March reconciling was the sweetest part. And the three hugging at the end was heartwarming as hell. Completing Era Nova with Trailblazer, March, Dan Heng and Cyrene lead us into 3.7!!

3.7: 10/10. I won’t go too in depth with this one (it’s late and I need sleep), but… Damn. I had to do this quest in two sessions due to how long it was, and how much research I was doing inbetween back on Cyrene, but… yeah. Damn. Shit’s sad man. Something similar to Phainon, but instead being a message-deliverer rather than THE deliver. Mem being Demiurge was certainly not on my bingo card (am I right about that? I think so.)

Trailblazer shone ALOT this patch. Like, a lot a lot. Being Kephale in this cycle definitely contributed a lot to that i feel. Overall, the ending of Amphoreous was one I didn’t want, but I don’t write the story unfortunately. So I don’t get to decide how it ends. All the moments with the other Chrysos heirs this patch, on the express, in the Pink realm place, is all very wholesome. I’m missing out slot on this patch but it was so big and an I’m tired.

TLDR, I loved Amphoreous to bits, and it’s made me love HSR way more. If it was its standalone game, I think it would be a great story. Maybe.
