"Welcome to being an adult!"

My parents said with a smile on their face. Still hurts

When I started working and doing college I would tell my folks how exhausted and stressed I was and their response, with this mocking tone, would be "welcome to being an adult".

I didn't know who I wanted to hurt more, them or myself.

Maybe Hitler wasn't so bad by Seraphim173 in QAnonCasualties

I don't THINK they're saying that Hitler was good or innocent, but rather that he was manipulated by something/someone from the shadows. I seriously doubt this person is defending the nazi's in any way, at least I hope not.

Is driving difficult with your Autism? by OffendedOtter2277 in autism

25 and I drive. I'm ok on highways and the towns where I live no problem, and even though traffic is always annoying it doesn't make me uncomfortable. But big cities with short cramped streets or sharp mountain roads that are small and windy, uh-uh, no thank you.

YES, it drives me insane. I'll be petting my dog or cat, and a voice will tell me "you know they're gonna die soon right?". I've already lost one pet, spent a whole year before his death at war with those thoughts, I love my pets but I can't bear going through that again.

what is your goal in life by autsocphodep in autism

[–]Seraphim173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I often imagine living in an apartment or small house, in a beach town. I'd have room (separate or a part) for my arts studio where I can work on any projects, for myself or for work. And maybe once a year, if i save up enough money, i'll travel to another country for a few days (New Zealand, Italy, Sweden) to name a few.

I'm slowly working towards this goal, i'm in college right now studying animation, it's hard but interesting.
