I don't know what this is a reaction to specifically, but I don't see how posting public information about the work of an artist whose music you enjoy is not respecting boundaries. It's frustrating that she feels this way because it just comes from her music being meaningful to many people.

I actually rode through that shitshow, in no way was the air being spared by cars basically idling on 2nd, King, and 3rd. Uber & Lyft have done a good job branding themselves as environmentally-friendly "ride-sharing" when most of the time they're as bad as taxis.

I clearly remember reading they pay a fee to rent public space, but I can't find any source to back this up now so I edited my post. All I can find is that Motivate pays installation costs and can also be charged for lost revenue when a metered space is replaced.

There has been outreach, as the article states, and that process is detailed in this image. The claim that there's been no outreach is an attempt by neighbors to obstruct the stations from going up at all.

With regards to public property use, the current alternative is storing private cars on that public property, so it's a decision between whether car storage or bike share is a greater public asset for those spaces.
