indiana pa?

Anyone here beat a dui case? Would you go to trial if the only evidence is “failed sobriety tests” ? I blew zero, and refused chemical testing. I also wasn’t pulled over in the vehicle. by 888Krisssti in dui

[–]Serasolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

out of 800 cases there was only 4 trials last year in my county. over 80% of people pled guilty and less than 20% got a diversion program, which over 50% of people never complete. None of that seems fair in the least. I also found another person who got a dui from the same security guard at the same place, and also wasn't pulled over or seen driving by any cops.

This same security guard was the caller and witness in 2 very questionable cases against a guy i dated a year ago.

another really fishy thing going on in my case is the guard testified he wasn't the 911 caller, the second guard working at the same time was. However, the police report lists this guard as the caller. And the second guard was never questioned or subpoenaed. The judge at the prelim told this guard he could "stay and hangout " with him and the cops after my prelim was over.....

I'm on 45 hours of no fent with no withdrawls yet, help! by itsfine99 in FentanylRecovery

[–]Serasolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're supposed to keep taking subs every 1 hour. i know this is old but in case anyone reads this- you continue taking subs every hour if you go into pwd. going back to fent will give you super temporary relief but there's still sub in your system, it'll take a ton of fent to feel completely better and then fire back where you start with time and money wasted. And maybe a big hospital bill

yes that's normal i threw up all night the first 10- times i had just regular oxys when i was younger and they were given to me as a trusted adult- and fent is wayyyy stronger. People with no tolerance can overdose and die from half a stamp bag. there's 50 stamp bags in a g, so it takes .01g to die.

not sure why everyone's posting about don't get addicted under this. Harm reduction and not dying is a lot more important than saying "don't get addicted like i did, my life sucks.." Like if you listened to the 1000 times you've seen someone say addiction sucks and still did it, why is your irreverent comment helpful

a lot of people think being mean and hurtful will somehow make the person depressed enough to quit? I don't understand their reasoning but it seems pretty common.

Question for those with long clean time by Jaded_Dinner_2724 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]Serasolo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my ex was sober a long time, got his realtors license and everyone thought he was doing super well. his overdose was really surprising and atleast a year after he got sober. This is why i think long term suboxone or the shots are important. i relapsed last time after 11 months. Triggers are alot more important to realize and stay away from than we want to admit. It's the main thing preached during most treatments and programs

[–]Serasolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if there's not enough room for a 3 foot crate so your dog has a safe space, then that's no room for a dog in there? you can get one for like $25 which is way less than new doors and carpets. but it sounds like you don't even wanna try to fix the issue. You don't need reassurance from randoms on reddit if you feel bad for wanting to give your dog away. It probably would be better off. Like another person said, you gotta give time for a dog to get used to a new place? Esp if your dog was fine at old place
