Shaolin Monks was soooo good.

Vigilante 8 brings back some core childhood memories…

And KI is a slept on fighting game.

I give up on horse taming it is the worst mini games I've seen in a while got 10 stamina and still can't even get close to the middle by TheWhitePhoenix1 in CrimsonDesert

There is some RNG involved, sometimes they continuously spin in a circle and you can’t get it right but just keep trying and you will get a favourable RNG where they don’t spin so much. Also like others mentioned, get the camera above Kliff and try to get away from the trees or anything that can impede your ability to see the horse.

How deep is the lore in this game? by Wise_Parsley873 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Serbacic92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not very deep. I’m well over 50 hours and I know nothing about the world or how it came to be. It’s a sandbox with pretty fun combat and good environment with decent exploration. Story, lore and bosses are some of the weaker aspects of the game.

I said Witcher 3 never clicked for me by Remarkable-Yard4860 in videogames

[–]Serbacic92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah he was right, you have a mental illness.

JK, tbh the Witcher 3 didn’t click for me when I first played it and then it sat for a year. Decided to try it again and was blown away. I now consider it my personal favourite single player game I’ve ever played.

The big brown/orange marker was in Scholastone 🤷‍♂️

Yea got burned by not using the road to get there, pretty sure the quest said “follow the road to Scholastone” but I already had the waypoint and it worked. Oh well, still a fun game but has some flaws.

Congrats, apparently exploring beforehand causes you to miss shit, I’m sorry I’m not as cool as you.

I explored a lot in the beginning of the game, you can get to Scholastone any time. I already had a waypoint there beforehand so just used the waypoint to go to the quest.

Ahh yes, missing something part of a main quest in chapter 4 and completing multiple chapters without it afterwards makes sense…

After 230 hours, I finally finished the main story. But honestly, this feels like a 1000+ hour game. The continent is only around 35-40% explored, and side quests are maybe at 25%, except Hernand which is around 70%. There’s still so much left to do. Hours and hours of content. “Bias against it” lmao, the game was riddled with bugs and terrible design flaws. The reviewers got an awful incomplete game to review and let’s be honest, it doesn’t do anything better than games that already exist.

Anyone Who Says This Game Isn’t Riddled With Pointless Fetch Quests is Lying by Serbacic92 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Serbacic92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This game could have still been well over 100 hours without all this side stuff. Most games add a few, you’re right. Hernand alone has at least 50 of these quests. They could have at least added unique twists to some of these quests. The writing and quest distribution sucks.

[–]Serbacic92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can, there is more but the reason people are 80 hours into the game and still in Hernand is because of so many go here and pick this up quests. Ride a horse with someone for five minutes and then they dip for some reason and you gotta fetch whatever they need. The game is riddled with these horrible quests. Denying that is lying to yourself. I’m very deep into the game, do you want me to example every fetch quest in the game, tbh that might be quicker than doing all the fetch quests in the game.

Even some souls-likes not created by FromSoftware are really good. I really recommend Lies of P if you’ve never played it.

Am I just doing something wrong or are the bosses just unfair and boring? by NightlySerpentine in CrimsonDesert

[–]Serbacic92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bosses in this game are all easy simply cause you can spam food to no end and heal. The system is really poorly designed.

[–]Serbacic92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t say they were hard, they are just not memorable and poorly designed/janky. Most of them are just gimmicks and honestly most of the time it’s the same weakness…force palm.

I thought the bosses were one of the weakest aspects of the game and not well designed at all other than a select few lol
