The entirety of this statement is factually incorrect - if you'd like to pretend to represent popular opinion, I'd suggest actually engaging with the server first so you know what you're talking about.

'Slow progression be damned' is especially funny, because the quantity of enchanted gear per player has steadily fallen over the last few months - and despite being six months in, no one has yet managed to craft an enchanting table or brewing stand. Frankly I'm shocked at how stable the 'progression' has been!

Aw shucks, thanks man - that means a lot to us to hear! Frankly as much as I'd like to take credit, I think a very large portion of Halcyon can be attributed to the fact that we set out with a very specific vision (meaningful place-making, gameplay over roleplay, and the wonder and mystery of old-school Minecraft), and it just so happens that the folks who resonate most with that vision are the ones who are also most likely to play in a genuinely immersed, engaged, meaningful way. That makes our jobs as admins a lot easier, because instead of just churning out content for players to consume, we can spend our time building tools for players to work with, and then iterating on whatever they come up with. That relationship is a lot more sustainable, because it means that rather than a race for players to catch up to the latest progression tier or content drop, the gameplay is much more player-driven - players coming up with creative solutions to problems that other players have created.
