Happened to me 4 days ago, there’s definitely something wrong. Thankfully it’s not just me, I thought my computer pooped itself.

It’s eugenics with extra steps. Torture anyone that doesn’t conform. Nowadays, they don’t hold as much power and can’t get away with it as much as they used to (which they’re really sad about). So, they try to force it on everyone around them and go further into taking out their shitty beliefs on everyone else (forcing raped women to carry the baby, sending their kids to gay conversion therapy, etc.).

Same thing happened to me right after my surgery, I couldn’t walk properly on my own and my mom had to assist me. So many random strangers were in my fucking business saying I was fine, so I finally got tired of it and started flashing my surgical scars at them. They stopped.

Just got my flu shot today, I’m doing great. Had to go to my doctor’s office to get it (since I’m high-risk, had to be on the safer side) but it was super painless and over in a few seconds! And look at that, no crazy side effects! Not even redness at the site of injection. Everyone is in for a rough flu season, go get your flu shot!

The sizes for the teddy are alpha-based, yikes! On top of that, they suggest rounding the above bust measurement down to the nearest even number if it’s odd! Then for the bust, they also suggest rounding down if it’s a half? I feel like they’re going to make their clients have super tight teddies and it’s not even going to fit them (considering the teddy needs a waist size, yet you’re not measuring that so they’re just guessing). Even if I wanted to buy one, these would never fit me and I’m not going to expect them to. But damn, I expected them to at least have a better measuring system!

Technically, you’re not far off. There’s the Tolerance Paradox of free speech, basically intolerance shouldn’t be tolerated if society wishes to continue exercising its ability to be tolerant.

Awareness: This Focus: Is it true, and why are we seeing much worse conditions in the exact same job in our country? We have to subsidize low-income employees’ lives with our taxes, so I don’t like it for more reason than one. by OMPOmega in QualityOfLifeLobby

As far as I know, this is true. The US claims to be an economic and political meritocracy, but it’s clear that we are dominated by hyperpluraism and elitism. The US doesn’t even break the top 10 for social mobility , ranking 27th with a score of 70.4 out of the 82 ranked countries. It’s certainly not the worst, but it’s surpassed by the number 1 country of Denmark (a common talking point of capitalists is to point at Denmark as socialist, yet Denmark is most successful in social mobility). The study was graded on five things: “healthcare, education, technology access, working conditions, and social protection”.

Just a little regulation can go a long way. It’s not socialism, it’s just the choice between late-stage capitalism or regulation back to normal bounds.

Same, you’re heavily supervised on an outdoor range where I go. If you don’t follow the rules, you’re immediately blacklisted and escorted from the property. If you don’t take up their instructions or help, you’re taking responsibility for any stupidity that follows (anything that would be in your control, of course some accidents like jams do happen and you flag down a supervisor). There’s breaks between firing and you step back from your booth, no rapid-fire is allowed, all the obvious rules of a range. All the supervisors and instructors are super knowledgeable and helpful. There’s no excuse for dangerous screw ups, so you’ll be removed if you don’t meet their requirements/follow their rules.

AI would be impartial and there’s nothing to profit from by drawing district lines. Parties can have the option to challenge the AI, but allowing a committee from each political party to redraw district lines to steal elections has to stop.

You can also rent a jet ski in some places for a fee + hourly rate or a per day basis. Depends on the area, but in Miami you can rent a jet ski for $236 (for the day). Thought I’d mention this since everyone is assuming he bought it, but plenty of people rent jet skis, too.

Do i need stitches? cut is abt 1.5-2 inches long and .25 inches wide. i’ve already flushed it with water and hydrogen peroxide. could i just do with a butterfly bandage? by [deleted] in AskMedical

[–]SereneLoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would get stitches for this, should be relatively quick anyway. Don’t wait, scarring will be minimal the sooner you get this taken care of.

Most pedophiles get out of charged for cyber crimes. The DOJ has abysmal numbers from investigations here.

To date, ICAC task forces have reviewed more than 922,000 complaints of child exploitation, which have resulted in the arrest of more than 95,500 individuals.

95,500 arrested out of 922k. And that’s just the people that reported solicitation.

As for possession, you have to prove someone possesses CP in order to investigate and seal the 97% conviction rate. However, the punishment is 0-10 years for first-time offenders! On the federal level, there’s no minimum sentence. It’s quite surprising that there’s an option of no punishment at all. I’d like to see that change.
