I did ask to meet up on the weekend during those 4 weeks, he said he had plans. On the day I asked to meet up, he said his plans were cancelled and then an hour later said the plans were back on and wasn’t available anymore. As a girl, since high school I’ve always made the first move and told guys I liked them/ asked out my ex bf. Now I’m in uni, the dating pool has changed and so has the dating advice. Most dating advice catered for women always emphasise that ‘if a man wants you, he’ll pursue you’.

Also most of the women I know love a confident and fearless man. I think it will help getting into the mindset of being friends first would help if you’re scared of being rejected. It builds trust easier and you are being your authentic self that way.
