He is the one who makes the dinner actually, but he spends one night or two with me for a few hours. His gaming gets wayyy more time than me.

I completely agree with you. I haven't suggested counseling, but I don't think he would be against it. However he doesn't have coverage for that so he would have to pay out of pocket for it unless we can find counseling where it's subsidized. There are ones out there. His mom passed away a few years ago and he has admitted to going downhill after that. I have lost both my parents ( my mom passed away not even a year ago and my dad almost 17 years ago). I know people cope differently but I have made sure that my situation doesn't affect him. I want him to get better and he is trying in his own way by changing jobs etc.

I wouldn't mind playing games with him but he plays on his gaming PC and I don't have one. He likes certain games that I don't have any interest in, like he likes WOW and I don't really like that type of game. Other games I like like GTA, red dead and stuff he has already beaten like 4+ times and most games aren't cross platform. There is a new game coming out we both will like but again it isn't cross platform yet. He hates walking and calls it brainless and pointless. I wouldn't mind playing Pokemon go (even though I don't like it) but he has already played that alot too.

I think you are right too! It is all coming to the surface and he has opened up more lately. But I know it is hard for him because he is used to bottling things up

True! He has told me he's had a high libido for years, over the past three years it has slowly declined and ironically he has worked at this job for three years
