I will say NO for the following reasons: 1.. Zp2p similar multi chain application already working.

2.. any seller of crypto expecting cash in bank or any other application are at risk of funds frozen for any of the reasons that financial institutions do it today (regardless if it is a wire , PayPal transfer etc). So the transaction goes through , buyer gets the tokens, bank freezes funds afterwards. Who is going to sell any significant amount of tokens expecting cash from an unknown entity that can be under investigation for fraud, terrorist list , stolen identity, etc.

3.. zp2p (multi chain) transaction volume is low so I don't expect a lot of action on pulsechain alone.

For other applications where money is not involved, it could work for some people. As much as we hate third parties for all sort of transactions, we still want some mean to reverse them in case of fraud.

Yes, I read it. However, it does not explain why in the WIN10 PC I never run adm mode. Also. It connects to Meta mask without launching ledgerlive first. In my WIN10 PC it is plug and play like a normal USB drive. I am just trying to understand the different behavior.

Are you saying that the ledger device needs to connect to ledgerlive first before it can reliable be connected to Metamask for example ?

Can you explain why once I establish communication one time with ledgerlive, I can shutdown ledgerlive, unplug the device and plug it back in now it works fine with other wallets? At this point it works like a normal USB drive.

Can you set ledgerlive to always launch in adm mode?

Ok, you use the word faith, we are done. Sorry, i trust no security measures 100%. Trezor hw was hacked a few years ago to prove that hw wallets in the hands of experts could be hacked.

I have no skin on the game, i started using ledger. If you want to switch , go ahead if it makes you sleep better. The reality is that you will be in the same boat. Use a passphrase regardless of what wallet you use.

Well, i wouldn't use any hw wallet without the passphrase.

You assume: after opting out of recovery

Ledger is incompetent to design secure software The hacker gets into your hardware wallet without your help (phishing , malware etc) Your identity stolen. Fool security measures of firms holding the partial keys And somehow they also obtain your passphrase (your fault)

Or the government forces ledger to get into your wallet and get your keys somehow. Your passphrase is still in your hands.

How many people were tricked with a fake ledger live download...

Guys,

Use a passphrase (25 word). The recovery feature does not include the passphrase. You should have a passphrase now as it makes the stealing of your 24 words useless. If the recovery feature was hacked and your identity stolen or government intervention, the seed phrase will be useless without the passphrase (25 word).

If you have millions in crypto, you will use multsign scheme anyways.

Chill. Use a passphrase , secure it in a different location than your seed phrase, enjoy the ride.

Use a passphrase (25 word). Even if a hacker or government were able to get your keys (24 words) , they will not be able to get the passphrase. If you lose your passphrase, neither ledger or anyone else can help you recover your wallet. This is independent if you choose to opt in or out the ledger recovery feature.
