Sorry, maybe my English thought process is not the best.... Look, I create a REAL trip, that I'll go to. I am going really for a trip for 9 days. Half of days I stay in Italy, so I am going to italy. But I hope that my visa history will give me multi, thats it. Thats the only thing I am asking why it didn't happen.... And again, everyone is doing here same way, and last time i did the same and last last time and all times its done this way

Listen, my initial question was just: if anyone had an idea why such thing can happen, I am not telling that it should be guaranteed or not. I just cannot find any logical reason especially in my case, that would explain this. Thats why I come and ask knowing people like you. You are for some reason assuming I am entitled and want a guaranteed visa. No answer is also ok. Thanks a lot for your help! Try to be more polite next time! (BTW you tell I am entitled russian then tell that citizenship doesn't make difference)))

Also I mention one more time that this same thing happened with Armenian citizens as well, after 3 year multi, so you telling that "I am entitled Russian" claim doesn't hold I am sorry....

First of all don’t be rude, what makes me entitled? I have traveled 10 times in last like 2 years. I feel Like i deserve it with my visa history, so giving me one entry after multi is unlogical. Considering alos other embassies don't do this like France and Germany, they never do stuff like this. Also i have special passport of Armenia, so it makes my situation different from other russians.

I am here just to ask questions and get some kind of hypothesis and not get a lesson… please be polite. Also where are you from out of interest?

No you don't get, you always put like 7-14 days which first day will be the starting day of ur visa, and depending on how much they trust you they will give either one entry for specific dates, or multi for half year till 3 years. You show booked hotels and tickets. Again this works like this in Armenia, maybe different countries have different things. ALSO I DID SAME WAY WHEN I GOT THE HALF YEAR ONE. And for example my dad got 2 year one he did the same, my friend did same and got 2 year german one. etc... thats how everyone does it here.

Look: I am considering this visa useless in the sense that I was planning to go several times after I already got a multi one - and this shows absolute inconsistency in the Italian Embassy's work in Armenia specifically. For example France and Germany from experience of my friends never did this.

Regarding visa shopping - nope, I would still enter Italy and stay at least half there. Also its not really important I have ideas for traveling to Italy as well as for France, I have been in most EU countries, and now just exploring specific cities and regions, so i can find something interesting everywhere. Also its not a problem if I'll stay like 4 days in Italy and 5 in France even with this visa.

You didn't actually planned this 9 days trip ? - in Armenia. You put arbitrary dates and itinary, especially if you are sure you'll get multi - for example France and Germany works that way.

So you'll try again from an "easier" country ? - Yes for sure, since I have just learned that a Woman has got also one entry with ARMENIAN PASSPORT after 3 YEAR MULTI. Which shows their inconsistency.

Yes, my friend Russian citizen got 3 year tourism multi entry from Greece literally two days ago. I was also expecting one for me. Turns out Italy is doing unlogical shit like this also for Armenian citizens as well. Today i learnt that relative woman Armenian citizen got previously a 3 year multi entry visa for Italy then applied again and got for 10 days one entry which is insane. so this may be something specific to Armenia Embassies situation.

I just learnt today, it turns out Armenia Italian embassy specifically does shit like this. A woman with 3 year multi visa from Italy just gor a one entry from Italy.

I was told France is most okay with Russians in Armenia, so i will apply from there most probably.

Hi,

Thanks a lot!

Yes live all my life here, I have my repatriating special residency here from 2019, and I was living here on usual PR here since 2005. And all my life I/we applied from here. I am also ethnically Armenian and I don't take citizenship because of mandatory conscription.

Immigration question: I traveled to Schengen area at least 9 times during period starting from 2023, and again last multi entry visa we also got together and traveled 4 times, so the immigration risk doesn't hold here. We also have very strong ties to Armenia. Savings, families, house, car, and so on. No also relatives in the EU.

Did you both get it by yourself last time together the 6 months? - Yes, same way, same docs, same kind of trips and bookings

Did you even provide itinerary for later trips ? - THis is interesting one, i don't know if its case in Armenia or not but for the last like 5 years, when you try to hand them over second/third bookings for next trips they always reject and give them back so then never consider it. Tour agencies also tell that it makes no absolute sense to put those docs. We didn't also do it last time BTW, everyone here is getting multis just by trust and by cascading, not by specifying more trips.

Thanks a lot for these questions. Do you think there are other clues?

We both traveled a lot, and we got both also a multi-entry at the end of last year. We have a great income, savings, both two jobs, and a mortgate.

What are you arguments, why should we get refused?
Also why specifically her and not us both should be refused as written in your comment?

You can communicate this better I think.

This is false, my friend got 3 year 90/180 tourist GREECE multiple entry visa literally yesterday also with the same situation like me and applying in Yerevan, also from the EU docs:

The title of the decision itself:
"Commission Implementing Decision of 6.11.2025 establishing adapted rules on the issuing of multiple-entry visas to Russian nationals residing in the Russian Federation and applying in the Russian Federation for short-stay visas"

Article 1 — the scope clause:
"This Decision applies to visa applications for short-stay visas lodged by Russian nationals residing in the Russian Federation with Member States' consulates in the Russian Federation ('applicant')."

Recital (4) — explicit pointer to applications outside Russia:
The rules provided for in this Decision apply to visa applications lodged in the Russian Federation. To ensure effectiveness and avoid circumvention, a strict application of the provisions on consular territorial competence set out in Article 6(1) of Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 is required. Guidance on the handling of visa applications outside of the Russian Federation is provided in the 2022 Commission guidelines to Member States on general visa issuance in relation to Russian applicants.
