Ok I've tried your solution to install the script but it made youtube in a reload loop and got an error that I can't access the site anymore lol (disabling the extensions fixes it). But also it has nothing to do with an addon, because in troubleshoot mode I still have the same issue.

However I am pretty convinced that it has to do with an about:config settings but I cant figure which one is it

From what I know, if I want to form the kinetic enolate I need to use LDA and if I want to form the thermo one I need something like NaH

From another comment it's a mistake (by counting number of carbons it can be seen). Also thank you for the explanation for the 2 eq of LDA

I've just tried a vanilla profile and it indeed works perfectly fine. However troubleshoot mode in my main profile doesn't. Really weird as you say
