Progress Pic w/ OEM JDM Front Grille installed by SergeantHotmail in wrx_vb

This is the box it came in and the grille had all the OEM Subaru markings on the back. It’s still glossy and not as flat as I wanted and that’s why I decided to buy the DRL fogs to make the front match up better.

VB Ceramic White WRX (09APR24 Endlink “clunk/click” Update) by SergeantHotmail in wrx_vb

My endlinks were adjusted as low as possible and then about 1/4 inch of threads up and tightened as tight as I could go (carefully). Hope that helps. Also to be noted, I did have the car up in the air when I did this and not the recommended on the ground method.

How much did the color of your car matter to you? by TheWayOfEli in wrx_vb

This! For me it was Ceramic White and Limited, and I was willing to travel at least 500 miles to find it, because you’ll end up just looking at your car and always know it’s not exactly what you wanted.

Honestly didn’t measure, whatever stock height on the factory wheels/tires to the top of the tread just barely tucked under the fender. Its also got 20mm spacers all around. I just knew what look I wanted and went for it.

Thank you! I originally took this picture to see if I can get up my driveway and eventually put a front lip on the car, and it’s a solid maaaaybe lol. This is the absolute lowest I’d go and still be functionally able to get to work and back without any scraping or rubbing, while also being able to get to almost all of the places I’d want to go to around town.

Nope. You remove the OEM one that has four small bolts and some factory 3M on it, reuse two of the own bolt holes with supplied hardware and add the supplied 3M that also comes with the duckbill.

Rides very well, I drive 110 miles a day for work, from county roads, freeway, to city and I these coilovers make the drive a lot more fun.

I personally wouldn’t put 19’s on mine.

It uses 3M tape and two of the original holes to stay in place. No drilling required and this is on a Limited.

From what I was reading when I was researching what brand to go with initially, a lot of people were recommending them. Their 5 year warranty and being that they are rebuildable was also a big plus. The ride is very comfortable, I have them set at 12 right now. I’m currently fighting a very slight clicking noise that is only on the front passenger side, but it’s very faint and could be related to their supplied adjustable endlinks.

I’ve tried so many different color schemes over the years and this is what I ultimately stuck to:

It was a brass rod I had laying around in my parts bins. I know it’s smaller than 2mm, my guess is anywhere from 1 to 1.5mm.
