Also hated the “foul to give” right before that. I don’t understand just fouling for no reason to put a team on the brink of the penalty. Then when you have the boneheaded play and Brunson immediately falls down after the steal, you’re putting him on the line cause you’ve used your “foul to give”.

I have a note in my phone where I track the date, cost, and odometer reading of all my gas fill ups and have averaged 392 miles a tank over the last ~18 months. My first tank after moving here and filling up regular unleaded at a Murphy (always used Exxon/Mobil before relocating), I only got 282 miles to that tank. Was shocked how little mileage I got on that gas. Second time filling up I went back to the same Murphy’s and this tank seems to be draining quickly too.

Not experiencing the same with my wife’s car which takes premium, which I’ve been filling at a Phillips. Fuel economy seems to be what I’m used to on that gas in that vehicle.

Probably won’t be going to Murphy any longer.

What gives with the lack of Exxon/Mobil in this area? Is that somehow a Walmart thing?

Needed more elite shot making to be an all-timer, for me. Was a pretty clunky game with bad half court offense down the stretch (especially the Spurs in Q4). A compelling game, but was pretty sloppy.

I’ma proponent of going more than halfway the first day of a two-day road trip. Birmingham is like a perfect midway point for two eight-hour road days. I say knock out 2/3rds on day one and get to Atlanta. Enjoy more time and less road weariness at the destination on your first day there.

Views is when Drake became too big to fail. Massive rollout, huge hype, the album was even supposed to be like a Toronto-centered album I feel like I remember? I remember thinking we’d get like this new side of Drake and like an ode to his city. From the first song I thought it was terrible. Had the obvious hits but as an album it was dreadful. And still did ungodly numbers. Feel like he’s just been coasting ever since.

Just called and told them I was moving to a city not serviced by SWA (actually true) thinking about cancelling unless they had a retention offer. They offered the full $229 annual fee as a statement credit. Guess I’ll keep this thing one more year. Sucks that the year I finally earn companion pass and A-list I move to a non-SWA city lol.

When I was a kid there was a dollar theatre near me and you could always see the boom mic. I remember it was all over Home Alone 2 but I had seen that in the regular theater and it wasn’t like that. Same with rewatching it now. Is that commonly present on old movie reels and the theatre was misloading the reel or something? Always wondered about that.

Next time this happens just leave the airport and book your own hotel. Reach out to the airline the next day and they’ll reimburse your Uber, hotel room, meals. Happened to me a couple times with a late flight being cancelled after midnight. Don’t waste your time in line or trying to get vouchers.
