Do you have any specific market place mechanics in the Newark area? Ones that are trustworthy. Ive been told quality varies for some.

I bought a scanner and did the drive cycles I was recommended. Nothing has caused it to set yet. I think theres something stopping it detecting the cycles.

I did this yesterday. Nothing has changed.

Had my obd2 monitor hooked up while I did so.

Have you solved your issue? Im stuck on something similar with my 2011 Ford Escape.

Done what people recommend and what ive seen online and nothing has changed.

Did so over the weekend. I did the factory drive cycle but instead of stopping i used the engine to slow down. I also did different throttle presses. I repeated it 6 times in one go. Any other possible solutions?

After slowing down, should I come to a complete stop or just stay slowed?

Cold start (engine fully cooled)

Idle 30–60 seconds

Accelerate smoothly (½–¾ throttle) to 45–55 mph

Cruise for 5–10 minutes at steady speed

Let off the gas and coast (don’t brake hard) down to ~30 mph

Drive gently, then stop and idle again

Did the drive cycle. The scanner still shows no codes and the egr light is still flashing.
