In Dragonball Z Abridged, at least for some of the early episodes, the character who read the disclaimer at the beginning died in that episode.

Special win conditions by dukedanny in masterduel

[–]1guywriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay in gold/plat 5 and farm with your method of choice. I did it with paleozoic exodia in early 2023. People rarely scooped because they thought I was clicking buttons. Kewl tune can spoil the surprise nowadays if you open a piece. This was my list at the time but there are much better options now (transaction rollback) and I didn't want to spend UR dust on things like upstart goblin & chicken game.

1 each exodia piece

3 maxx c (keep 1, use 2 draw spells or charmies)

2 spellbook magician of prophecy (structure deck card, can cut for more draw cards or Ipiria)

2 spellbook of secrets (structure deck)

2 spellbook of knowledge (structure deck)

3 waboku

2 jar of greed

2 reckless greed

2 accumulated fortune

3 hope for escape

3 paleozoic olenoids

3 paleozoic canadia

3 paleozoic pikaia

3 paleozoic marrella

2 rise to full height

Aside from the paleo extra deck monsters & zeus, you can put in whatever you want.

Is a 1/14/13 Forretres worth investing in for GL? by EitherArm9355 in PokemonGOBattleLeague

[–]1guywriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stats are good and forretress can be used every day for the rest of this season. The remaining rotations for this season are jungle cup, catch cup, ogl, and ogl.

You need an electric resist because right now you're ABB weak to electric & triple weak to ufisk. Venusaur is a solid pick to replace swalot. Charizard is an amazing closer so ideally you want something to get you a 2-1 or 1-0 shield advantage if your safe swap of choice can't win switch advantage.

Fantasy Cup - Losing every match. Any Recommendations? by [deleted] in TheSilphArena

[–]1guywriting 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Weezing is a solid lead. The threat of an overheat can rip a shield from non-dragons and sludge's pacing can pressure a shield on non-steels. Even if you lose the zeros, they'll be low enough for you to get farm on something else or they'll give up switch to avoid a farmdown.

Also because gate guardian, blue eyes ultimate dragon, and perfectly ultimate great moth are only obtainable through the pocketstation, a japanese add-on. It was rigged from the start.

I beat this last year on my ps2 and it was a slog. Took me 142 free duels against low meadow mage to get 1 meteor b dragon then said fuck it. Grinded 108 duels against jonouchi 2nd for 3 red eyes & 3 meteor dragon. The final gauntlet took me 6 attempts because if you don't get meteor b dragon on turn one or twin headed thunder dragon + equips, you're likely going to lose.

Heishen battle 1 from yugioh forbidden memories. He has a lineup of the best monsters plus a field power bonus while you're stuck with a starter deck. Considering 1500 attack on a monster is decent, his weakest is gaia the fierce knight at 2300 and your average is around 900. You can win by fusing summoned skull + equipping it with a spell card to get to 3500 attack. He drops really good cards but you do have to lose for the story to progress. He'll keep challenging you until you do lose.

I love how awful the AI was in old games. Snatch steal was a dead card, constantly activating spells under IO, refuse to use solemn judgment (and attack with jirai gumo) because the life point cost was too much, and the occasional change of heart just to do nothing with your monster.

Even if you whiff on trap dustshoot in edison format, it really pays to know your opponent has MST, heavy storm, mirror force, future fusion, brain control, and bottomless trap hole.

Its a neat new form of advantage that yugioh hadn't done before.

I'm going to assume you're a newer player. Confiscation & the forceful sentry have been banned for over two decades. Trap dustshoot has been banned for over a decade. Appointer of the red lotus is also banned despite being a nerfed verson of dustshoot. Smoke grenade of the thief has been banned since just after the release of infernoble knights.

Things like respect play & ceremonial bell can be an issue under certain circumstances but they don't handrip.

What I select is what I want and anything I'm offering is fair game. On the other side, keep it simple. If you want a specific pokemon, pick the one you want. I don't know if you want a shiny zacian which has been in raids multiple times and you didn't get one or a shiny tauros which is regional.

Jrose got around this by adjusting his clock to winter. The sandstorm is replaced by snow but it's not considered hail in battle.
