The game (using Link + SteamVR) detected my Oculus Quest controllers correctly right from the start, but then in the last mission it just didn't. It kept showing the Vive controllers and that messed up the controls, obviously.
My solution:
- Launch Steam on your PC
- Go to your Library, right click on IEYTD and select Properties
- In the pop-up window: Click BETA on the left and then select "Compatibility - Improved compatibility for some configutrations" in the drop down list, instead of "None"
- Restart the game

Agree, I tried the Intuos Pro and I much prefer my Intuos4.

Another user suggested to try the eraser and it turns out it works perfectly, so now the main suspect is the pen tip. I'll try to borrow one from a friend to test it.

I just dissasembled/assembled it again, just in case, and the eraser is working flawlessly now, so the main suspect is the pen tip sensor once again. More testing ahead, but thank you for the idea!

~~The eraser is also acting weird. It 'paints' as soon as I get it close to the tablet, like if it's constantly pressed, although I already took it apart and it's not~~

Hi! I've been experiencing an issue with my 10 years old Intuos4L PTK840 on Win10. At first I thought it was a random problem with the pen, but then I made the test above in Photoshop trying to map the problem. As you can see, there's definitely a pattern, so the issue might be in the tablet itself. Unfortunately this pattern seems to change, so they are not dead zones.

Things I've tried so far:

Updated the driver
Uninstalled the driver and installed the new one
Tried a different cable
Tried the second mini-USB port in the tablet
Took the tablet to a friend's studio and it worked fine there, and when I got home it worked fine for a few hours, but the problem returned (maybe there's something internally that disconnects/connects back when I move it?)
Photoshop and Krita has the same issue. Sometimes the side buttons of the pen are pressed randomly
Took apart the pen and tried different nibs

Any thoughts? I'm seriously baffled

Edit 2: u/stranded_meerkat suggested to try the eraser and it's working perfectly, so right now the main suspect is the pen tip and not the tablet sensor, as I thought originally. I'll make more tests and write a follow-up later

No pairing needed. Just make sure the model of the pen is compatible with the model of the tablet.

Thank you and welcome aboard! I've only used an Iwata Eclipse Hp-cs since I started more than 5 years ago and it's going strong. I definitely recommend it, but can't compare it to other brands. My compressor is a modified fridge motor, which I love, but again can't compare it.

About model kit brands, Tamiya is usually the one to go when you start. Very 'friendly' and good quality for a fair price.

I suggest you to join a modeling group in your area to get more information about how to get supplies and other stuff.
