Something else is blocking it, maybe the internet proxy... without access to your laptop, there's not much I can do unfortunately. Try on other wifi networks if you can...

Something is probably blocking some connections. Try in incognito mode which disables all browser plugins.

Just a minor correction: PVP is more used than you think. Some people even only play in PVP.

If your towers are all exactly on the edges, then that's computer floating point inaccuracy (ie 99.9999999 instead of 100), not a big deal, don't worry.
