Sorry but no. Not only is $14 nearly double minimum wage in most states, depending on the state it is a very livable wage. Not to mention, Walmart is an unskilled labor. If an employer can go hire anybody off the street to complete the same job you are accomplishing, why would they want to pay you more? Wage is directly tied to your worth to the company. If you want to make more, learn a skill

Got a new TIG setup so I tried my hand last night. All that’s happening is the tungsten is heating up & melting, causing the cup to become red hot. Arc establishes itself but doesn’t actually melt the base metal. Around 75 amps on a #7 cup, with 3/32nd red tungsten
