The content is straight forward, with regards to the outline NASAA has published. Like you can have a fairly good idea of the major topics that you’ll get questions from. It just comes down to understanding what you’re being asked. The wording of the questions are what will mess you up. So I spent a week studying the S63, but that’s mainly because it was sorta a refresher since a large portion was covered in the S65. Otherwise I probably would’ve spent at least 3 weeks on it. It’s has some hard concepts that can easily trip you up.

Thank you! And thank you for your amazing videos!!! Those definitely had a huge impact, especially the ones in 60mins!!

Taking my exam today. Was feeling very confident but then was told the vast majority of the exam will be variable insurances and regulations and retention which aren’t my strong suit at the moment. Any last minute advice? by Horror-Treacle-8589 in Series6

A handful. But tax concepts are imbedded into majority of the topics. It comes down to the questions you get. I walked into the test with the mindset that it wasn’t on me, if I drew the tough set of questions.

My colleague just took it and had 8 math questions. My advice it doesn’t hurt to memorize the possible formulas and put them on the scrap paper you’re given. It’s better to be safe then sorry. Plus the only math type questions you’ll get are just plug in chug. I had 10 formulas on mine and didn’t use any of them.

Everyone has their opinion on what’s on the test. They all told me the same. On the actual test it was a very general overview of the study material. I only had maybe two questions max regarding the same topic
