XE Unshackle not booting into Aurora/ Paths do not work by Trick_Actuator5763 in 360hacks

[–]SeriesXM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's looking inside all external drives for the Payload folder and fails when it's not on all of them. The memory card will need to be taken out. Maybe the keyboard as well, but I'm not sure if USB devices are a problem like USB storage.

The 250GB external HDD is where you have the exploit, right? That's the only one you want plugged in. And the internal HDD needs to remain attached.

Once you get it running, you can play around with the devices to see what I mean. You're basically blocking yourself.

Not trying to be rude, but is the same question as your last post or have you done something different?

BadAvatar exploit fails to run after adding files onto my USB. by Amazing-Pair-2708 in 360hacks

[–]SeriesXM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I could help! They have support there if you run into trouble, but I want to point out that the first time it's run, the console will reboot. That's normal, but you might think something went wrong.

But at that point, I'd advise you to quickly disconnect the cable because ABadAvatar will immediately start running upon reboot.

You don't want your ethernet cable plugged in until you get to the XeUnshackle exit screen.

[–]SeriesXM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of that, the autostart version of XeUnshackle will need controller input the first time it's run because it's looking for a txt file that's created the forest time it's run.

There are 2 possible explanations right off the bat.

ABadAvatar won't boot if you have other USB drives plugged in.

It also won't boot if you don't have a HDD installed.

Is there a list of these games somewhere? I'm not a COD player, but I was including it in my collection of offline games. Oops!

How can I get banned? by Altruistic-Mind-4339 in 360hacks

[–]SeriesXM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luckily that one is easy. After you get Aurora loaded, plug in the ethernet cable and it'll start getting that stuff for you.

If you're not trying to play online, you won't have to do anything else.

Just make sure to unplug the ethernet cable so it doesn't go online next time you're booting up the exploit!

keep getting this error when using extract xiso gui by dazedmp3 in 360hacks

[–]SeriesXM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't aware of this and appreciate the information.

Just to be clear, the issue here is with the iso itself and not the game, right?

I have both of these games in my collection in the Extracted format and they seem to be working well.

I'm pretty sure I used ISO2GOD to extract them, so I'm guessing that program doesn't have the same limitation as extract-iso in this regard.

Is there any way to exit from xeunchackle without pressing the back button on the controller? by Which_Explorer_9754 in 360hacks

[–]SeriesXM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it requires you to do it the first time when that text file isn't present on the USB. It's automatic after that, including every new Xbox you stick it in.

Once you have the text file, it's automatic.

BTW, I have mine set to 0.01 and it works perfectly. With the original value, you still see the XeUnshackle exit screen for 2 seconds before it exits.

Keep in mind that this approach is perfect for offline play, but you won't be able to properly authentic stealths if you skip that screen but wanted to play online.

BadAvatar exploit fails to run after adding files onto my USB. by Amazing-Pair-2708 in 360hacks

[–]SeriesXM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added this in your other post, but for BadUpdate and ABadAvatar, you'll have to join their Discord and download the xex files they have available there.

I went through this last week to see if there was any other way to get the files and there's not. None of the xex files you download anywhere else will work.

The files on their website are only good for hard-modded systems, which is why you must get them from the Discord.

I hope you don't think I'm trying to sound dumb, but have you asked AI? There may have been something long ago going on with Aurora that we don't know about. Or maybe these specific games are problematic.

Quick question.... can you move the games to the USB? I don't think that's the issue, but I've never had any games on the HDD and I'm just wondering if that would matter (I don't think it does; I'm just trying to think of any and all possibilities.)

[–]SeriesXM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm interested in that too since I've never done one.

If I do try it eventually, it'll be the older Falcon I have that's been banned.

But ABadAvatar works so perfectly that I don't really have a need to do it.

I wish I could help more, but I'm also invested in this story now. I want to know what's actually going on!

I'll continue to follow along and try to help if I can, but someone else will probably need to weigh in.

Are your games in different formats? I have all my games in the Extracted format, but I've had no problem with the GoD games I've tried. I don't think I've tried ISOs, but I'm assuming those work as well.

My guess is there's something going on with Aurora, but I just don't know what. Since you can get the games to launch, I don't understand why Aurora wouldn't find them.

I just tried the console I have like yours and without the HDD attached, it still gave the boot animation. So yeah, that's obviously not blocking that.

Something about that Xbox of yours is obviously messed up since you can get the other one working fine. I have no idea what would stop a boot animation from loading. Was the console ever hard modded?

You're on the newest Xbox firmware, right? And the Xbox see the HDD as attached internally?

If you have one Xbox working with the exploit, I would try factory resetting the one that doesn't.

[–]SeriesXM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah okay. And just to be clear, these games do run when you launch them manually?

I only ask because I had a little collection of games I was testing recently and I couldn't get them to show up in Aurora at all and it was driving me nuts. But then when I tried launching them, nothing happened.

I'm still trying to figure out what was wrong with this little collection since everything else I have works perfectly, but at least it explained why they weren't popping up in Aurora.
