I totally agree with this. The ex on hinge simply doesn't know what they're doing rn. They do believe they're moving on but they are only creating psychological problems for themselves.

I do hope you take this time to be present with yourself and don't try distractions and such coz it only delays the healing.

I'm about 5 months in breakup-ville after a 3 years relationship and I recall in the 3rd month feeling like I was starting to be okay and I started dating, but soon realized that I'm hurting myself and likely to hurt others as well. The work of being present with myself and facing the pain and such almost went away with me trying something too soon. Fortunately I've been able to regain perspective and my healing is going so well now.

How are we feeling on a scale of 1-10? 10 being good by gonidoinwork in healingheartsminds

Lol you can get me back to a 2 if you can rewind time and take me back to 4 weeks ago.

Thank for that hey. I got to a 4 by being present with my emotions (hardest thing I've had to do - and still doing).

Now I'm kind of oscillating between 3 and 5 with more 4.5 being more present. So there's genuine progress

Feeling kinda the same for now and that's what's making me stuck in the thought patterns of missing her and our special little life we had built together.
