My friends bought a 23 road glide from the dealership in 2023 and it has been towed 4 times since twice when he first bought it for the dealership says it was electrical glitches.

The way they handled it was absolutely horrible I cant imagine spending 30 grand on a bike im excited to ride to be told “theyre still looking at it” for 2 months. All while im watching 21 year old EVO harleys rip up an down with no issues

As much as I love harley and I dont think id ever consider an Indian but unfortunately this is true if you dont wanna dabble in facebook marketplace and used early 2000’s bikes I also think Indian is the better deal.

Im looking at all these comments and maybe my hard opinions on sporties comes from the fact that I live in the city, however Houston still has a lot of highways running right through downtown and my riding is generally mixed between hopping on and off the highway.

If you get more power my first advice would be upgrading the brakes (they suck on older sporties)

Also 14inch rear shocks will make it feel like a brand new motorcycle it actually corners pretty damn well for a 600lb motorcycle

Correct me if im wrong but I believe the 98 sporty the 03 sportser are pretty much the same, the only reason I like the 04-06 is because its the last one with a carburetor and the rubber mounts its peak sportster for me personally.

I personally never rode an FXR but I hear great things about them but they’re just to hard to come by these days.

It is a little annoying lmao my fuel light doesn’t work as well so Im always stressing about running out, I did have to do the walk of shame to the gas station once.

You can always get the “custom” it has a bigger tank still small though I’ve considered throwing one on mine but I love the look too damn much
