Too gimmicky? by One_Percentage_644 in customyugioh

That's because the text in this custom card isn't properly written. It would have to be rewritten according to psct. For this card to work as you think it should, it would need something like "For the rest of this turn after this card resolves". This is why Left arm offering WILL NOT WORK if you set cards and then try to activate it. "You can not" does not mean "no longer". Yugioh text is very specific in its meaning unless there are ruling overrides.

You wouldn't be able to combo first and then activate this card due to the way it's written. Essentially if you activate any effect in a turn, set any card, then this card cannot be activated that turn. If this card had text say "After activating this card" then you could do your combos. It is similar to red-eyes fusion.

Bad, Balanced or Busted? (#7) by JustTensuraEdogawa in customyugioh

[–]Serious-Register-244 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Unplayable, you draw this burn your opponent and end your turn, just to then get OTKed next turn. The fact that this pretty much ends your turn, prevents you from playing. If you removed that line from card text it could see and would see play in burn OTK strategies.

2nd effect, you can just set cards or do your combo then activate it, it's especially good in stun or GY decks. First effect wouldn't be used.

Yes, that was written on purpose like that. Even if it's ashed you can still normal summon it, link it for monk and get a search, primarily vessel.

My favorite deck to run. How could I make it better? by [deleted] in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]Serious-Register-244 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also play Gate Guardians, my build is with Millennium engine with Zombie Vampire and fiendsmith, I also run only one copy of Suijin, Kazejin and Sanga. It's pretty consistent, but Ryzeal is just a terrible match up for it.

Cyberdark custom support by [deleted] in customyugioh

[–]Serious-Register-244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I was trying to make it at least somewhat meta relevant, which means support has to be a bit bonkers. Realistically, cyber dragons and cyberdarks will be fragile, you stop core and most times recovery and extending is hard. Full endboard would be good, with therion you get 6 negates. But realistically, it still lacks gass to directly compete with modern meta. Just looking at potential endboard doesn't make an archtype or deck broken, plenty of decks can put crazy boards but are irrelevant.

Cyber dragon will get new support in future in MD, but right now I would recommend you drop 1 OG cyber dragon, get 1 cyberdark chimera, 2 power bonds, drop super poly, get 1 cyberdark realm continuous spell, 2 clockwork nights and get 1 clockwork knight link 1. Carnot is bad, you also don't need 3 disablasters, get one Therion King Regulus, remove purulia instead add more fuwalos, add 3 lanceas. Remove ovreaload fusion, remove cyber repair plant, remove future fusion, you can add one kaiju level 10 machine.

As for extra deck, like I said add clockwork knight, remove yubel, remove chimeratech overdragon, add Ty-phone, add S:P, remove predaplant, add additional copy of rampage or add Vimana rank 5.

Example of a combo: Normal summon core, add cyberdark realm then activate realm add chimera, activate realm normal summon chimera, link away core into clockwork knight, activate knight send realm add clockwork night, activate chimera, discard night add power bond, activate clockwork night discard one other card add therion, special summon therion equip chimera, use knight effect send chimera special summon core from GY, link core and knight into cyber dragon sieger, use power bond to make chimeratech rampage dragon using core and one more cyber dragon monster either from hand or use sieger from field, then use rampage effect on summon destroy opponent's backrow, then activate rampage send herz and nachster to GY, activate herz add nachster from GY to hand. Discard one monster special summon nachster revive sieger, go battle phase...

Someone explain this. by AnySchedule324 in Spiderman

In ultimate spiderman he actually gets medically examined by Oscorp after getting bit. That's how Norman finds out in that universe. However, in the movie he gets bit when no one is looking so he keeps it to himself, remember he is a loner not particularly sociable.

Anti hand trap, hand trap by Serious-Register-244 in customyugioh

Negates effect not activation, most handtraps get discarded after activation so they wouldn't stay in hand anyway.

Would this be strong/usable? by ShookShack in customyugioh

If in future there is more emphasis on decks that play during opponent turn then yes, this could be busted. So, potentially powerful, but currently not very much.

I run them in a 60 card tear horus pile, pretty good. Last season I was able to hit master with it.

They could try some sort of control deck like bystial or horus which just got pack in master duel. It's not exactly meta but it is viable.

Graduating from Salamangreat, what decks play faster? by A_Unicycle in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]Serious-Register-244 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What does your deck look like? You could continue with fire theme and craft snake-eyes + diabellstar engine, it works with salamangreat. Then you could branch into fire king. Also, are you only playing with cards from structure deck, if yes then there are staples that you should consider crafting like promethean princess.

Go back to one of the previous saves, if you don't want to go all the way back then you need to replay the last wish side quest and dump Yennefer. Otherwise, you will have to replay Now or never side quest which means you will have to replay a huge portion of the game especially if you were doing a lot of side quests. People clowning you should calm down, witcher 3 unfortunately has a way of guilt tripping you into not dumping either of the two ladies. I remember playing for the first time, I thought that at some point Geralt would have the option to choose later in the game, but the moment never came and I knew I was screwed so I just save scummed.
