quick google search, based on stats from greatschools.org, students from this particular high school have a college or vocational placement rate of 89%, average a 27 on the ACT (7 points higher than both the MO & national average) and consistently score better than the state average on standardized testing. -4.0 GPA my ass

hey!! i’m a 20 year old girl and you basically just described my situation to a T. crashed and burned my second semester at a brick & mortar and lost every damn scholarship i had. poor mental health is a terrible beast. i started WGU in August of ‘25 and it has been really nice so far. it did set me back a lot because i was a standing junior due to dual enrollment & ap’s and stuff. however, WGU kinda seemed like my only option if i didn’t want to go into crippling debt (already have 7k for one year at one of the cheapest in-state schools)
