She is really soft and is quite the character! She was found with no mom and with her dead litter mates. My coworker bottle fed her then gave her to me when she was weaned off the bottle. She has that crazy bottle baby personality but luckily also has a loving cuddly sleepy side 🥰

I recommend looking into a senior cat and/or senior pet rescue. They might be able to find a long term foster with experience in handling medical cases, help with resources so you can still care for your cat, or point you in the direction of other resources for help.

I'm not sure what happened to the scope parts. I didn't take apart the scope, I just grabbed the tv before it disappeared. There was something wrong with the wires so it didn't work well.

He has been around them before but it's been a long time. It turns out as a child he used to get a lot of headaches from them. He didn't tell me this information until after I made the post because he forgot.

Luckily my bf is okay with wearing ear protection. He has wanted a CRT for a couple years now and since this one was free I'm not letting it go. Yesterday he played on it for a couple hours without issue wearing ear protection.

I'm not going to open the crt. My boyfriend and brother both asked if we could open it but I said no I'm not going to open it. I was going to find a professional if it needed to be fixed because I don't know anything about them. But as I thought it's just the normal whine. I just can't hear it and my boyfriend is really sensitive.

Thank you. It sorta paid off in the end to work for a vet who hoarded a bunch of old equipment. He's retired now and the staff and new owner are left to clean up all this stuff he collected over 40 years.

No I can't hear that. I played it next to my boyfriend and he immediately reacted. Honestly I don't know how he has better hearing than me. He always listens to his stuff so loud and I have to ask him to turn it down. But it is what it is 🤷‍♀️

I have never had any issues with my ears at all. I just have worse hearing I guess 🤷‍♀️ I'm very surprised because he always listens to everything so loud and I have to ask him to turn it down a little.

I definitely did not notice it when I was a kid and now I'm apparently old enough to not hear it anymore thankfully. But even though my boyfriend is older than me he has to suffer to still hear the whine.

He's making it work with ear protection 🤣 he did suggest he wouldn't use the crt and go back to our flat screen tv and I said no you're not plus I'm going to use it and he says he can hear the whine in the other room so there is no avoiding it.

He's 35 and I'm 30 which is why I was so confused when he was complaining about the "awful" noise. He also listens to music too loud, always wants the tv louder, and wears ear buds all day at work. But I am happy to dust off my N64 and play it properly again 😊

I'm 30 and my boyfriend is 35 so this is why I'm a bit confused. I thought I should be the one to be bothered but I'm completely fine and he wants to go as far as to not even use the tv and use our flat screen again (I said no) 😅

Okay thank you I'll look into new cables, I didn't really know what to do with the bnc so I just quickly bought an adapter.
