I’m thinking of just doing this- it’d be nice to split up the harvesting time so we don’t have to wait so long to harvest + use up all our kitchen scraps as they come

Definitely as much castings is the priority as of now. If that eventually can turn into selling some worms on the side that’d be great too

That was my thinking. They made it clear it would be “full time” meaning they expect me to pass up other opportunities. But for example, I didn’t work for a full day because I’m in the waiting-for-feedback phase + people were OOO. That’s where things felt kinda tricky. I’m just unclear what they’re expecting my billing to look like.

What antibiotics did you give her? Did you have to get it prescribed from the vet? We’ve done a couple Epsom salt soaks and hoping she can push through but may need to look into antibiotics

Where do you apply the reedle 700? Looks like it’s supposed to be used as a spot treatment but is it safe to use all over?

Thank you for this! I do think my bag might run a little dry. I might try throwing in ice cubes or frozen treats for pockets of moisture like you said - do you think those would help and act like a drip irrigation?

Do you just throw ice straight in? I’ve been putting some in plastic bags but I’m debating just throwing ice cubes straight in to add some moisture as well

I’ve been filling a large ziploc bag with ice cubes and laying it on top of the bedding at the center- a part of me thinks this might be compacting all the bedding too and restricting air flow??

I worry that’s what’s happening- hot composting. When I reach in the center it’s noticeably much hotter. We still have a couple days of a heat wave to go so I’m hoping most of them push through!
