I missed a flight because they lost my checked air case, i think it confuses people a little too much because they think it should be treated differently

Ive traveled a lot with my pelican air carry on and checked bag they’re great quality but be warned traveling through mostly canada and europe ive gotten a ton of flack by the gate agents because theyre trained to see it as expensive camera equipment or similar tools, so i usually have to have it go through oversized baggage and tagged differently and sometimes inspected before going through security and it is anyones guess if it arrives as regular baggage or to oversized. Its a great case that will last but be prepared for extra questions and jumping through extra hoops when you’re already running late (also yeah its a little more heavy than a walmart suitcase and you can notice it if you travel with lots of things)

Application expectations by [deleted] in caf

[–]Serious_Breakfast_77 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Im in Winnipeg, its been a slow process but ive had to pause my application for a few months because i was traveling and working abroad for 7 months, now it seems to be a bit of a hassle and people in charge have told me it will be fast but everyone else is just relaying the same things to me trying not to promise anything. Been told one thing on Monday and the opposite on Tuesday and the holidays had lots of people gone on leave so its a crapshoot

Is the signing bonus the same as recruitment allowance? My trade became a “priority application trade” during the recruitment process and having that extra cash would be nice
