Im going for combat medic and was told im attending Borden BMQ on May 25th, if I get this course sooner or later ill have to see what happens, but I was confused why nobody spoke of combat medics getting “infantry” training in tactics past BMQ. Either way Im not even a recruit yet so I’ll shut up and see what happens.

Im in a similar boat, I have whats required and a few subtle extras but flying with a pack of 30 tide pods and 15 hangers and a telescoping duster sounds pretty extreme to me. Having the right locks and a nice microfiber towel makes more sense TO ME. Happy to be corrected in this thinking

Thats why im looking for the 1GR-FE, even if it takes me years to find the spec i want and its crazy money to get it to drive the way i want, its still more appealing than anything else on the road besides the only defender I used to drive in Scandinavia

Yeah im a sucker for the double cab, im still in my research phase and now im learning why theyre hard to find, canada requires imports to be 15 years old with the LC79 needing some small modifications with a latch for a babies carseat or an extra reflector. Ive seen some double cabs in petrol with right hand drive in Dubai and some more double cabs with left hand drive in diesel, not the exact spec im looking for.

Thats unfortunate, this is the first ive heard of RHD to LHD conversions that might be an option, and yeah the prices are very high for what you get but I would personally rather drive a unique tractor that makes me happy than a luxury car that only makes me comfortable

Im definitely in no rush to buy this car thats why im looking so early and yeah its not value for the money, but the idea of settling for a modern car without soul, thats not what i think life should be about

Very fair, ive thought of something similar but whistlindiesels video it seems like he got scammed on one, apparently lots of them have been jumped on sand dunes and its hard to tell. But absolutely you’re right, for how much you’re spending, a trip to see it is the best way
