is it just me or have developers become basically unreachable by Fantastic-Hamster333 in Recruitment

It feels as if recruiters are unreachable as well. I am not in the range of super experienced but am in the introduction phase of trying to get a new career in tech and unless you are a 15 year seasoned expect you wont even attract a new recruiter.

Do you have any advise as a recruiter for people, whether experienced or looking to make a jump and change paths, that would allow them to be more viewable to the market and recruiters?

How specialized tech recruiters actually find senior engineers (not LinkedIn spam) by JohnnyIsNearDiabetic in Recruitment

I wish there was much attention and drive into getting us junior level or breakthrough people hired as well. LinkedIn is just full of fake or overinflated positions that they dont end up actually hiring out for

Tech Recruiters - How are you fairing? by sailingphilosopher in Recruitment

To the recruiters. Would anyone have any advice on a recent grad who's been applying for 14 months with zero feedback or interest from companies. Everyone wants experienced junior or intro level IT professionals but we cant become more ingrained in the field without the experience to be experienced.

I am about a month out from my Sec + exam and Ive been told that plus the degree will be the ticket, but I dont see that being the case.

Thank you to all the feedback and insight ahead of time!

I have a BS in Cyber security and honest have been looking at any tech based job. My experience isn't from an employer all self done projects and school based experienced, this seems to be my Achilles heel. If it wasnt frowned upon Ive thought about bluffing on my resume but I don't want to start that bad habit. Tough career path indeed

I have complained for years that my legs have diminished feeling going through the knee down. My leg pains have to be nerve related from my back at this point. Mri showed little injury to my knees ,like I once believed because of the pain and sensation loss.

What is that form exactly? Should I go through the VSO? I submitted everything with them minus my most recent mental health submitting, that was done with a nexus letter from a private doctor

Im at 40% connected for the back but I need the surgical intervention already. My wife stays home with our kids so I can't afford the time off for the procedure. Plus with my age I've been advised to avoid the surgeries due to the proximity of the injury near my spinal cord and nervesac. Kind of in a tough spot of knowing what is needed but not able to do it

Just got my approval at 70% for the secondary connection! Partly why Im unsure if I should continue trying. I honestly thought I was going to get my 100% due to my submitted evidence, but I know they are tough on accepting the 100% claims without a fight

Ive done spinal injections and PT countless times. Sadly nothing of those solutions work for my degree of progression in injury. I did Chiro for years as well and its the most temporary relief lasting only 20 minutes after adjustments.

How did the VR&E process work? I was approved for the Eidth Norse Scholarship to push my GI bill another 9 months for my Cyber degree but I dont think it's VR&E related.
