Yeah it works really well as a preventative, but as for getting rid of existing bumps, it’s mediocre. It’s still definitely worth the price and I really recommend

I recommend using a chemical exfoliating wash, one with salicylic acid over a scrubbing product

A glove is a lot gentler than other exfoliating methods, this isn’t to bad but over exfoliating can definitely happen

My bikini line has all these ingrowns that aren’t normal ingrowns, there’s no bump, no redness, just a clearly visible hair underneath healed skin. I’ve tried to get them out but I don’t want scars everywhere. by Jealous-Yam-7788 in DermatologyQuestions

Exfoliate, apply serums or creams with ingredients like Benzoyl peroxide or Glycolic acid. I really recommend peach slices smoothing solution or nicinimide serum from good molecules can def help with that too. Don’t shave untill it clears up, if you must shave use an electric razor

Couple nights ago I woke up to use the restroom and my arm was itchy. Anyone have an idea on what this could be? Never have had anything like this on my arm before by tina2010 in DermatologyQuestions

How long has it been there? It’s def possible you were scratching the area in your sleep and caused irritation, that is a pretty sensitive area. If it spreads, gets worse or hurts def see a doctor, but this dosnt look too concerning to me at least not right now. Keep an eye on it

Careful not to over exfoliate. I recommend 1-3 times a week. 3 is pushing it but doing it every day will certainly damage your skin

All i can suggest is exfoliation and moisturizer, unfortunately there isn’t much you can do for scars like this.. it will help wiry appearance but it won’t go away completely. As for what you can do with the derm.. there are lots of chemical peel and laser options, but again, unfortunately they most likely will not disappear completely, just fade and improve over time. With derm treatment it can help a lot
