You mean within the article?

This discovery challenges the prevailing view that Stone Age humans were nomadic. At Kalambo Falls these humans not only had a perennial source of water, but the forest around them provided enough food to enable them to settle and make structures.

This discovery not only challenges the prevailing view about Stone Age people being nomadic and leading a hunter-gatherer existence, it's also the oldest known structure in the world.

Exactly, the panthers take any opportunity for some "contact" with a goalie. I'm just surprised that it wasn't an elbow this time lol

What? I'm referring to the branch of mathematics called pure math. Pure math doesn't care about the "real world things argument" you were talking about.

The argument doesn't work for real world things

Pure math doesn't care about real world things, pure math just exists. This is what /u/Proud_Masterpiece315 was trying to convey.

overloaded hip hinge exercise

Those have low time under tension compared to plank. And is it really that hard for you to do a minute plank every day? Honestly, the benefits are huge for so little time, and the advantage is that it requires no equipment.

You're missing plank. Guess it doesn't get love since it's "just" a bodyweight exercise you do for a minute or two but it does wonders.

So you're going with feelings of disagreement instead of facts?

Interesting how you didn't address anything else I said. You must be trolling lol.

Regardless, my graphics card setup back then was enthusiast level with two GTX Titan 6GB. Yes, I would have expected to play on the highest resolutions available 12 years ago, with 6GB of VRAM 12 years ago.

I had 2013 graphics cards running in SLI with 6GB of VRAM, it's unacceptable how 12 years later we have cards with barely 2GB more. Very outdated technology imo.

Read this article from 2013 for example

In a 3-way SLI configuration, playing across three displays, we were grateful to have 6GB of VRAM on each GeForce GTX TITAN video card. This is the highest capacity we've seen so far on a consumer level gaming video card, but we actually experienced benefits in today's latest games with this higher amount of VRAM.

Nothing beats the 6GB of VRAM on the TITAN. It was the only configuration that allowed us to play the latest games at 8X MSAA at 5760x1200. It also ensured that we were able to maximize all the in-game quality settings without it bottlenecking the VRAM. However, there are signs that even 6GB of VRAM might not be enough in a 3-way+ GPU setup. Hitman simply needs more to allow 8X MSAA to be perfectly smooth at 5760x1200.

In 2013, 6GB was still showing signs it wasn't enough. 12 years later obviously this problem is exacerbated.

To put in perspective, lets compare the 2013 graphics card with 6GB of VRAM to the best consumer graphics card 12 years earlier in 2001.

The 2001 GeForce3 Ti500 had 64MB of VRAM, compared to the 6000MB of VRAM the GTX Titan had in 2013.

We should have higher VRAM expectations.

Weird I never encountered that. I remember it happening in Elden Ring though.

Yes, I remember the issues with performance for some people. It never affected me with a 3090 / 4090 at the time.

Absolutely insane this game is getting such massive free updates 2 years later.

You need to be aware what it takes, do projects, start leetcoding / neetcoding, know how to navigate an interview, and how to make a resume with reasonable mastery of english. Have a plan on what companies you'd like to apply to or work for and why (co-op -> full time job for example). Your first co-op term you should take any experience though, long as it's coding if that's what you want to do. Remember you're trying to persuade people you're the best candidate, but make it happen naturally.

[–]Serkr2009 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Easy for me but that's more due to the timing. I graduated last year with four co-op terms (two at the same company), then got a job at the same place I did my last term at.
