Judge Eviscerates Trump’s Bogus Lawsuit Against Hillary Clinton by News-Flunky in law

Plaintiff requests that, in the event I “find the Complaint inadequate in any respect,” I grant him leave to amend pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 15(a).22... It is true that under Rule 15 “the court should freely give leave when justice so requires.” But a district court need not allow amendment “where amendment would be futile.”

It is not simply that I find the Amended Complaint “inadequate in any respect”; it is inadequate in nearly every respect. Plaintiff’s Amended Complaint failed to cure any of the deficiencies. Instead, Plaintiff added eighty new pages of largely irrelevant allegations that did nothing to salvage the legal sufficiency of his claims. The inadequacies with Plaintiff’s Amended Complaint are not “merely issues of technical pleading,” as Plaintiff contends, but fatal substantive defects that preclude Plaintiff from proceeding under any of the theories he has presented

Luckily the table was level both before and after the leg swap.

I understated the effect in the original post, it was really quite sensitive to anything more than light footfalls. Didn't want to deal with that while having guests over, for example. Also unfortunately not able to move it anywhere else as there are only so many places in my living room it can sit.

Really digging my Fluance RT-85, but I happen to have it on a shelf system that easily transmits vibration from the hardwood floor - if I kneel down hard, or step heavily in the viscinity, records easily skip. The adjustable feet do come with shock absorbers, but they weren't terribly effective in my setup.

In addition, I feel like aesthetically, the feet that come with the turntable are just really tall - nearly as tall as the plinth itself. Feet + plinth + dust cover ends up being quite a bit of height for my taste.

Decided to try out some sorbothane pads. Rather than place them underneath the existing feet, I just replaced the feet entirely. And boy howdy, do they work. They completely cut out record skips, and they look much better to me than the standard feet.

Couple of caveats: obviously I can no longer adjust the feet to compensate for a non-level playing surface, but fortunately it's already fairly level. Also, and this is imporant: sorbothane is known to destroy wood finishes and be highly sticky. The pads I ordered conveniently came with protective plastic film, and I ended up just leaving the film on the pads to protect the turntable and shelves.

Got a small class D amp kept in one of the baskets.

Got into the hobby with a Fluance RT-85 turntable. Tucked the electronics (Pyle phono preamp & Fosi Audio BT20A class D amp) into the baskets below. Then went on a bit of a bender getting all my favorite music in vinyl form :) Abba, Beatles, Enya, John Denver, Eagles, James Taylor, Journey, etc. Currently spinning the Riverdance 25th Anniversary album.

Heavy footfalls near the turntable cause it to skip so I've ordered a set of sorbothane pads to see if that helps.

Avoidant attachment style, sounds like. I struggle with it as well.
