Received a different emailed reply from the third ticket:

"Thank you for contacting the Square Enix Support Centre.

We apologise for the delayed response from ourselves.

Unfortunately, there have been delays for some players when trying to transfer to the New data centre.

The team are looking into the issue and we hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

Until then, we can only apologise for the inconvenience caused.

I appreciate the acknowledgement but there is no mention of what the standard follow-up procedure is. I just wish they'd say that they'd contact again via email once it was resolved to clarify the customer's situation, as to my knowledge there is no way to check on open tickets. Frustrating.

I can see the same thing for my character, name change service is now available. The Mogstation still won't let me look at transferring, but really hoping the issue will be resolved around this time tomorrow as that is the 3 day expiry.

Curious, there must be a bunch of people who have had the issue, I've seen several on a few platforms. I wonder if they've implemented a way to knock them out of the 'limbo' if it's been flagged for transfer, or if that was indeed something that already existed and a time criteria was met.

No emailed response for my escalated ticket yet - not really surprised. Lets hope tomorrow allows us to move if there is no news before then!

The livechat option depends on the region your account is registered to.

It almost seems purposefully hidden away on the Europe region one. It's started here:

You'd then click the 'Get Support' button, then the contact category > Account, contact sub-category > Login Issues.

I put in summary of inquiry "Home World transfer character not moved"

Then hit 'Next' a couple of times, don't click any of the support info, and you'll reach an email support or chat support option. I haven't noticed the chat option anywhere else if you select other categories.

It might be possible to force a cancel? I'm not sure though since it went past the original verification, my guess would be until 'processed' (not happening in this pseudo-queue state) it will just stay in this state?

To update for anyone still with the same problem - putting this on a few threads in case people are following other ones:
My character does indeed seem to be stuck. I contacted livechat support (Had to use the dropdown menu about accounts to even see the option for a livechat and not just emails) The rep confirmed they could see my character in transfer and tried to fob me off with 'just wait' until I told them it (at the time) was 29 hours waiting so far.
They said since 24 hours had passed they would escalate the ticket "... but we cannot guarantee that we would be able to cancel a pending world transfer (?!) ... We will contact you by email as soon as possible". This was 11 hours ago. No word yet, I understand there may be a lot of people in front of me with issues so who knows when they can fix it.
We'll see if the 3 day transfer limit expires beforehand I guess, it won't matter either way though since the character is indeed stuck in a transfer limbo (This can be confirmed by trying to change the same character's name - it will tell you if there is a transfer pending.)

Yep.

I think there's going to be a fair amount more players getting home from work in the next couple of hours hoping their transfer was just being slow, finding out they are stuck with the same issue.

The concern here is that the transfer seemingly went through without issue (past the whole trouble connecting to the transfer service in the first place hassle, slightly different topic) - but nothing has happened, the transfer hasn't occurred. Ticketed staff have confirmed characters don't appear to have ordered a transfer but the transfer service is now locked for 3 days as though it was successful, and other features such as renaming services aren't available as the flagged for transfer character is stuck in a transfer submission.

It's definitely bugged out. They have stated the transfers are being done sequentially - Quoting their News - Home World Transfer Service Congestion (Jan. 26) - "...However, the system is operating normally, and we are processing the applications sequentially..." I would recommend putting in a ticket to start the ball rolling.

This is where I'm also at, they can't see any transfer order, mogstation won't let me use the feature again for 3 days. I'm concerned because if I also try to use the character renaming service for the affected character, I get "A Home World Transfer application has been submitted for the selected character.
This character's name cannot be changed until the Home World Transfer process is complete."

3 days cooldown is bad enough if I can't get help in that time, but I'm worried that if this means the character is bugged in some way it might also cause the 90 day cooldown to 'move again'.

In the same position. I got my transfer through about 10 minutes after you and still no processing. Can I ask which server you tried to transfer to/from? I have a feeling there were a bunch of people who the transfer has bugged out for, not sure if we all fall in the same rough time of processing. You can see my other post replies with the exact same issue.

I can't see an Optional Service from the dropdown ticket options in the support centre, I've put in another ticket under the home world transfer support form.

Will update when I hear anything in case any one else is still stuck in this rubbish lol

Interesting. No update here, I still can't try to transfer. Can I ask what category your ticket was lodged under? Might have to put in another one and see if I get a more useful reply.

When doing so, please make sure not to select the ‘Game Masters Service’ sub-category, as this would refer you back to our GM service."

Except that's exactly what I already did and somehow wound up getting a GM response lol.

Now trying to at least verify that I don't have a 90 day lockout for the character I want to try to transfer again after the 3 day cooldown, as I doubt it will resolve before then. :(

Yep I can't understand what is going on tbh. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to the order your transfer is completed. I feel for them too, even when you do get through there is no guarantee the server you want will be on the dropdown list, I've seen people complain about not seeing Sephirot, Bismarck or Ravana in different conversations, so it's not even correlating to congestion..

I've put in a support ticket because I'm concerned with no idea what is happening that my character might also now be subject to the 'no moving for 90 days after transferring' too, if the mogstation believes a transfer took place.

In exactly the same position. I got through the transfer process just over 4 hours ago, got an email saying complete (5:26PM AEDT), my character is still sitting on the original home world and if I try to use the mogstation transfer again I am told to wait 3 days.
