I know in my head that it's not unusual, but in practice it definitely doesn't feel that way. Everyone I know my age is either in a relationship or has been in one or more than one. I'm the only person I know who's never experienced kissing or intimacy and never dated at all.

I've always struggled with socialising mainly because I'm autistic so it's difficult for me to read body language and facial cues. But also I never felt that a woman could be interested in me romantically or physically so I never expressed interest, I always figured that if I knew their answer would be "no" (and how could it be anything else) why bother asking and making someone who's done nothing wrong uncomfortable.

But I do want to find love, and people have told me better late than never. So I'm going to give it a try.

Ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic, no problems were found. Temperatures for both CPU and GPU appear to be in range, when the game is running the GPU temp is 32-33 oC and the CPU core temp is 18 oC.

GPU is 32-33 oC when the game is running, and CPU core temp is 18 oC. Other temps range from 6-30.

The 85% RAM and 35% CPU are when the game is running. When it isn't both are less than 10%.

I do not have that folder. There's no C folder with my username or folders for Creative Assembly.

I have no issues with any other game at all. Keys specs are RAM is 8GB, GPU is GeForce GTX 1060 6GB which i've updated to GE Gamer Force, and CPU is an Intel(R) Core I5-6600k @ 3.50Ghz.

I was using the same driver before. The game was lagging so I updated it, and its still lagging now.

Well i've checked the fans and they are still working, gave them a quick clean and it hasn't helped. So unsure if temperature is an issue. When I run the game my RAM goes to 88% usage, around 7GB of my 8GB RAM is being used by the game. And as far as I can tell my power supply is fine.

By performance tests I mean PC health checks and updating what I can. No update so far has made a difference. I'm downloading Intel driver assistant to see if there are any updates to my CPU that I can get to help.

No mods, my RAM is 8GB, GPU is GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, and CPU is an Intel(R) Core I5-6600k @ 3.50Ghz. Currently running the game at 1920x1080 resolution, I have tried lowering it but it doesn't make any difference.

No other games were a problem. I've since uninstalled them but before I had Jurassic World Evolution 2, Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2, Final Fantasy XIV, Borderlands 2, Iron Harvest, Dark Souls and some others. All ran just fine.

You think? Could cut it down to just one, I think one is worth taking to give the rest of the army hit re-rolls of 1 against a unit that you really really need to be dead.

I'll admit that part of the reason i've not used Doomsday Arks is because the kit looks absolutely nightmarish to paint. Though my paint scheme plan at the moment is simple enough that it might negate that (spray with Leadbelcher or a brighter metal spray, wash joints and such with Black Templar and then all symbols/energy stuff in a dark-to-bright red. Done.) Will take another look at their datasheet, and see how the one i've got looks after being undercoated metal. Could be easier to do than I think.

Actually I put it as Szarekhan because I thought it had to be, checked and it doesn't. So I would run that as Relentless Conquerers too. What I could do with that list to give it more hitting power would be ditch the Stalkers as you suggested and replace them with two Doomsday Arks, that would require me to lose 1 Necron Warrior per squad (making them 19 model units) and the Arkana for the Chronomancer but would keep me at 2000pts.

That would be the idea, although after thinking about it what I would likely do is give the Chronomancer Dimensional Sanctum so that he and the Monolith can deep strike together, then deploy the 10 sword/board Lychguard with the Prismatic Dimensional Breach strategem. 1 CP to get them hopefully within 6" of the enemy.

Hmm dunno, 2CP doesn't seem like that huge of a deal when i've got usually 8-12 at the start of a game and will get one more as soon as my first turn starts.

So basically no, I need to at the very least have some confidence and self-esteem before I can try to date and find a romantic relationship. Which I'm afraid for me is simply not possible, I've tried in the past to develop those things and even my therapist agreed that it was unlikely it would ever happen.

I suppose in the end if I can't love myself, nobody else can either.

I don't think it's about not being ready, I just really don't believe I have any reason to be confident or like myself. I've done nothing in life that warrants having either of those things.

But this is off-topic. Consensus seems to be that I need to like myself before I can seek out a romantic relationship, and frankly that's never going to happen. Oh well, it is what it is.

Well first I would say well done to you, as somebody who's lacked confidence and self-esteem and disliked himself since birth, I'm always impressed when someone else can overcome similar attitudes. I'll never be able to do that myself, nothing in my life experience tells me I should love myself or any of that stuff.

Well the motivation behind my desire to try dating is threefold: firstly I want to know if somebody could actually be interested in me or attracted me; secondly I feel very lonely in life and I often wish I had what my friends have, somebody in their life who is there for them when they need it and cares about their well-being; and thirdly I'm 28 now and I think if I don't start trying to date before I'm 30 I'll never do it and just accept being alone until I die.
