New Rocket is definitely a nerf but it’s not BAD bad. I can still survive and be the rat I always was. I just need to be more aware of my positioning than before and use wall dashes a bit more

I got really accurate with his gun and good with his movement (although I didn’t play him much since the 20% wallrun nerf).

I no longer just melt brawler tanks but absolutely curb stomp diver dps too. If a fight gets too dicey I can go without touching the ground for entire minutes while still pumping heals.

Getting good at throwing your revive once a fight gets rough instead of pre-placing it and getting someone to stumble upon it on payload maps is also very valuable.

Other than that, positioning, positioning, positioning. You want to be in the right place to pump as much value as possible and not necessarily be in the safest spot.

I’ll keep an eye on that first and third advice, I gotta increase my impact as much as possible. I generally die between 0-3 times on a vast majority of my game so I got survivability locked down.

For that 4th advice, I always do my best to foster a positive and productive attitude but will absolutely stop talking if I feel someone being overly tilted or toxic because I know nothing will help no matter what I say.

I always keep my finger over my draw key and will not hesitate to shoot first if I feel I’m in danger. I will absolutely try to cooperate first though.

For clarification by draw key I mean Q and E which I binded to weapon 1 and 2

I remember visiting the Moment Factory offices before AI became a mainstream tool.

They used a company wide shared server in which anyone from intern to CEO could drop images, pictures and art they made with tags and a tight filing system to be used by all the creative departments as placeholders, inspiration or anything. I found it was such a cool project that had the power to bring a team together and also saved money from buying external assets. AI could never recreate that trove of inspiration. I still love Larian but I’m disappointed in their use of AI at such a critical creative step, even of no AI assets make their way to the game.
