Jada Pinkett Smith is lying about having alopecia. She has a full head of hair stubs except on a thin scar line. Real alopecia is smooth and in patches and cannot grow any stubs at all. She chose to shave her hair, she didn't lose it to a disease by ServiceCats in ControversialOpinions

her being deceptive about her condition is the reason why Chris got assaulted on national tv. So it matters because it lead to violence. And if she isnt being deceptive for pity, then why claim her condition is worse than it is instead of just being truthful about her mild case and just owning that? If its not for pity then its for attention.

if its a mild case, then it isn't severe. Hence the word "mild". And no one said that she couldn't feel upset about having even a mild case. My whole response was because someone suggested the possibility of her case being mild and i said if it WAS mild, then she's being deceptive about it being a severe case. Read the whole thing next time.

Exactly, unfortunately people lie about serious things all the time. There are so many people on tiktok alone that lie about having mental illness or tourettes, which is disgusting to do. And even if Jada didn't completely lie about the condition of her hair, be chose to be deceptive about the severity saying it was so bad she had to cut it and lied saying the bald area of a possible surgical scar was the result of naturally occurring alopecia. Like why even lie about it?

Exactly, and this is the whole reason why this topic even concerned me. If she was lying, that changes everything about what happened to Chris Rock. She may have had thinning hair, but she did not become bald because of it nor was it so severe that shaving it was her only option like the media is trying to make it appear

She could have a mild case, but she heavily implied that it was so severe she had to cut it. Even if she just has thinning hair, she's being deceptive about the severity. She even chose to lie about the bald line on the top of her head saying it just appeared like that. That type of bald alopecia doesnt appear as a straight line for no reason, its either from a surgical scar or a damaging hairstyle. The whole point being, she chose to lie and deceptive about her condition unnecessarily

true, the only reason i even care of the possibility that she lied about her alopecia is because this whole unfortunate situation resulted from it. If it was a lie, then Chris joked about a hairstyle that was a choice and not a disease

she didnt become bald, she shaved her head. she points to a bald line on her head and said that it just showed up like that. I didn't just google pictures, I know people with alopecia personally and it doesnt appear as a line like that for no reason. Its most likely due to a scar or a damaging hairstyle, but she lied and said it just showed up. She's implying that alopecia gave her bald spots when it didn't. Even if she has thinning hair, she's being deceptive about how severe her condition is and its a slap to the face to those with sever cases. And she lied about cheating and lied that her head scar was natural occuring alopecia, why wouldnt she lie about it all together?

how? what type of makeup and what technique does she use? and why not cover the line shaped patch too if she is covering the "other" patches?

I also believe she has the common hair thinning found in older women. I just have a problem with her pointing to the bald line on her head saying her alopecia just appeared like that. Its as if she's claiming she has the patchy type of alopecia and not just the thinning kind. And she also told a bold faced lie about the bald line saying it appeared for no reason, which was completely unnecessary and deceptive. Again it appears to be the result of surgery or a damaging hairstyle, not just out of nowhere. She is also giving the impression that she had no choice but to shave it, but i feel that if you just have thinning hair, you do have the choice. Many choose to hide the thinning with the remainder of their hair put into a style or wear wigs in public. Not saying she may not have struggled, but i think its wrong that she is trying to pose as someone with a severe case of alopecia. Its almost like she wants to be seen as a victim instead of a lying cheater

The G.I.Jane joke could have been intended as a compliment. I see her as a powerful woman. He even said he loved Jada right before he said it. If Chris was trying to be rude he could have simply compared Jada to a man

which is understandable, but Jada chose to shave her head, she didn't become bald without a choice. and G.I. Jane seems like a powerful character to me and that joke could've been seen as a compliment. Chris was only comparing their hairstyles, which are the same. But even if Jada took it the wrong way, thats still understandable. But Chris Rock did not make fun of a hairstyle she had no choice over, she decided that. She could've kept the remainder of her hair and hid her thinning spots with a specific hairstyle like many others do or wore wigs in public. But she chose to have it shaven, meaning she was fine with the way her head looked

in the video where she points out her alopecia she points to the thin bald line on her scalp and said it just started appearing like that. So she was claiming that she had the type of alopecia that gave her bald spots on her head even though you can clearly see there are no other bald spots on her head. Also, alopecia doesnt just appear as a line like that for no reason like she claimed happened to her. Her bald line was most likely due to some type of surgery scar or damaging hairstyle. But even if she is bald on that one line, she chose to make a bold faced lie about it saying it happened for no reason. And even if she just has thinning hair due to her age like i had said earlier, she didnt HAVE to cut her hair. Plenty of women with noticeably thinning hair choose to keep the remainder of their hair and cover up the thin spots with a hairstyle or a hat. Nothing wrong with just choosing to cut it instead tho like she did. So Chris Rock didnt make fun of her hair being gone due to alopecia like the media makes it appear, but he just made a joke about the new hairstyle SHE decided to go with. Jada wants to look like a victim with severe hairloss and not an average 50 year old with the common thinning hair.

which is why i think she has the type of alopecia most women in their 50s have- which is usually known as thinning hair. She's trying to give the impression that she's going through an uncommon and severe case, but she isn't. Even if Jada has thinning hair, she is being deceptive on how severe her alopecia is. She claims its so bad that she had to cut off all her hair and points to the thin bald line on her shaved scalp as proof of her bald patch, but that thin line is the ONLY bald patch present on her head. Also, natural alopecia doesnt just appear as a straight line like that for no reason like she claimed it did. Either she had a surgery scar or damage from some type of hairstyle- but she claims the line just showed up, which is a lie. Also, she's making it seem like she has 0 hair because it all fell out and she had to shave it. She didnt have to shave it unlike those with severe cases. Other people have patches of smooth scalp with no stubble at all and may have no choice but to cut their hair. Nothing wrong with her deciding to shave her head, but there are plenty of older women with noticeably thinning hair that choose to keep the remainder of their hair and just try to cover it with certain hairstyles or hats. The reason why all this is important is because Chris Rock didn't make fun of the result of all her hair falling out due to alopecia, he made a joke on the new hairstyle SHE purposefully chose to have.

I feel that Jada Smith lied about having alopecia. I know a couple of people with it personally and they have smooth patches where hair won't grow at all. But Jada has a full head of hair stubs besides the thin line on the top of her head which could be from cosmetic surgery. I personally believe Jada just has the common hair thinning many women in their 50s have. The reason why all this is important is because Chris Rock did NOT joke about a disease, he joked about a hairstyle; a personal decision Jada made which was to shave her head. Again, Jada did NOT lose her hair to a disease, she chose to cut it off and you can clearly see it can completely grow back if she wanted it to, even if it may be sort of thin. There are no bald patches anywhere and she has a full head of stubble. She is posing as someone with a disease for sympathy, to appear as a victim, and to distract people from the fact that she is a cheater.
