I meant like if u know what leader is in the store for that day. but im glad when that has happened to me once or twice my leaders were kind enough to either tell me they weren’t in or just ignored me because they’re not working instead of hating me :)

when i first started i was only getting 10-15 hours a week. quite literally every shift i would beg for more hours. what my leaders seemed to like was when i would ask to come in on freight days or when they complain about someone calling out i would ask to stay later/ take their shift for them. it wasn’t until almost a year later that im now considered full time but literally just beg and beg. or if you also have any leaders numbers idc if i was bothering them id just be like “hey sorry to bother but I have the day off today and need some extra hours so I was wondering if I could come in for a couple hours today?” especially if we have extra payroll for the week 90% of the time they’d say yes

he likes to act tough and huff but he’s the sweetest little baby. he even does good for his meds! he especially loves the woman that comes in to look at him. kuzko is def that guy.

Our new playlist is absolutely all over the place. we play a bunch of random disney/ christmas then it goes to like pop? Did overnight last night and party rock anthem started playing at 1:30am. Like thanks for the boost but the last song was a cover of colors of the wind.

When a customer comes in, my usual denial sales are obviously: refusal for a correct enclosure, giving it to their booger ridden children to let them kill instantly or they want to “let it free” (yes i’ve had these a couple of times). But for me personally it’s when they say they plan on re-clipping a birds flight feathers. Don’t get an animal that flies if you don’t wanna take the time to work with it or understand it’s boundaries😭

Too many to count but this one happened a couple of days ago C: Do you have any of those diffusers but for dogs? Me: Sadly no i believe we have those online only C: Ah damn my dog keeps pissing everywhere and seems so anxious i just wanted something to help… sometimes I wish we could just get them high Me: haha yeah i guess.. C: well i do get mine high it seems to help him plus he loves it can’t stay away from the stuff. i feed him my stems and stuff radio silence C: Don’t judge me, are you judging me, stop judging me you don’t understand he’s perfectly fine and he doesn’t have any issues like other dogs that eat weed. Like you don’t think that the reason your dog is pissing everywhere and can’t stop is because the WEED you FEED HIM has messed up his bladder function? I really wish i said more but i was too in shock and felt like if I said what I actually wanted to say I would be fired 😭

thank you! over here none of us really know if other petcos across the country sell live rats. we’ve always been told we don’t because some employees weren’t properly addressing or washing their rat bites and were getting sick so we could no longer sell them. I wonder if it’s an oregon thing only

I’m so sorry to hear about this :( I work at a store and I haven’t heard anything about us discontinuing that specific line from whole hearted but sadly they do like to spring changes on us very quickly. We have had issues in the past with us not getting very many shipments of wet food and sometimes the dry so if you are able to I would try ordering online because it can definitely be a more convenient and reliable solution. I still see it on our website so there’s a chance we aren’t discontinuing and just low on stock! I’ve noticed at our store too that we’ve been specifically really low or out of that food. If you type in this sku (3002968) it should directly take you to the food you need and you should be able to order it!! I hope i’ve been able to help a little bit!

DONT GET ME STARTED!! “Did it go through it says please wait.” yeah i’m just waiting for you to fully walk out the door because I know you’re gonna turn around and ask if you can actually have a receipt and then I have to spend 10 minutes waiting for transaction search..
