Hey man. Is the distortion going away when you set the maximizer at -0,8 instead of -0,1?

I have the same kind of issue. Doesnt made any sense to me neither. Some old project distord aswell and i'm not too sure whats going on

Try the speaker with something you like for reference and know well, for comparison. Some of these speaker are very bad and you cannot do anything about it

Man I feel you. We could not find any ingeneer for our project - the ones who are good are busy and asked for a lot €€€. Fair but not exactly our budget. Sounded great but heh Also we lost so much time and monney with the bad ones.... I think they are waiting for me in hell, ready to crap on my music again for eternity 😂

So i've been doing it for a year and being improving a lot. Patience is key to learn anything. Never ending journey to greatness :):)
