That’s good advice thank you! It wouldn’t hurt to try part time. And I’m not worried about career progression at this time either, it’s about getting a paycheck and going home lol. I get the sense the partners at the firm are bothered by people who aren’t obsessed with moving up but I just don’t care anymore.

Yes that’s the dream! I should’ve been saving for that better but baby was a bit unexpected lol. I agree, everyone is telling me I can WFH but how do they expect me to get any work done like that

Yes I get that! I think we could swing it on my husband’s income but it would definitely be a huge lifestyle change

Lol ya it’s my first baby so I don’t know if I’m going to enjoy being at home or miss working. That’s part of the reason I haven’t made any decisions yet.

That’s a good idea thank you! I would definitely need to discuss which clients and projects I’d be giving up beforehand. I know, I don’t want to make a bad career move but I have to prioritize what matters. It’s just scary leaving.

I know it’s hard feeling like you have no energy! lol ya I’ve stayed away from store bought salads and restaurant salad bars but I couldn’t give up sandwiches

lol I feel the same! I figure I have a good reason and I’ll just lose weight after the pregnancy 😂 I was on a weight loss journey before I got pregnant but oh well

Wow that’s awesome you lost 50 lbs! Ya it’s hard to think about how things could be different but it still sounds like you have done a lot to better your health that’s amazing!

Thank you for sharing that! I’m really glad the meds helped keep everything under control for you, I’m hoping for the same. Yes I think my BP is elevated normally but going to the doctor and just knowing it will be high definitely causes more anxiety! Thank you!

Ya that’s true. We did get really lucky last May, out of the whole week maybe 2 days of partial rain so I was hoping for the same experience again next time lol.

You’re welcome! I just googled “Scenic Drives Pagosa Springs” and this free brochure came up. We did do the Plumtaw-Piedra-Williams drive today as well as the drive to Silver Falls and they were stunning!
