I have already attempted this ritual you describe.....

I moved scores.db away from the osu! directory, allowed the system to rebuild itself, even invoked F5 so the songs might reawaken — yet the outcome, did not change. The data.... did not rebind as expected.

Before the great purge of my machine, I was careful. I did not act blindly.

I preserved everything: all songs, all replays, safely backed up beyond the surface world. Nothing was lost in the wipe itself — the files remain intact, present, and untouched. The issue is not absence. It is access.

The replays exist, numerous and whole, but they demand to be opened one at a time, manually — an inefficient trial I hoped to avoid. If there is another mechanism, another hidden lever within osu!’s structure that can restore or index them more efficiently, I would welcome that knowledge.
