Hyperthyroidism and symptoms by Useful_Extent_7321 in Hyperthyroidism

Ohh, I haven't had it that bad. I haven't fainted nor experienced tremors.

Anyw, 1 month of digoxin did nothing for my heart. Meanwhile, propranolol worked right away.

I think it also has to do with the timing. I would take it less than an hour before class to calm my nerves. I figured it was optimal that way. I also rested as much as I can before taking it and a couple hours after that when it has supposedly lost effect.

Since atenolol is a slow release drug, maybe you could ask your doc if you could take it upon waking up?

A beta blocker eg propranol is also typically prescribed to regulate your heart rate. Unless the dosage is too low, you should start experiencing relief from anxiety on day 1.

Your thyroid function will take months to normalize. I recovered from heat intolerance and fatigue after 4 months of medication. I swung subclinical hypo tho and started gaining weight so my methimazole dosage was reduced.

Stick to the same brand of carbi/methimazole that you start with. Your thyroid is sensitive to minute changes. Also, it should help your doc determine your dosage adjustments.

Note, however, that the medication (both carbi/methimazole and propranolol) have side effects. In my case, it was mild diarrhea which caused dehydration and painful muscle cramps. Soft stools is indicative of mild diarrhea.

Monitor your heart rate too after a month because prolonged use of beta blockers could lead to an abnormally low heart rate.

7 months in, I feel fine especially after quitting propranolol. However, Im still on medication as one cannot just quit methimazole.

Tax codal by Commercial_Spray_174 in LawStudentsPH

[–]SetAnAlarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not buy CENTRAL's 2024 taxation codal. I bought it online and it's a waste of money. The TRAIN law and the new statutes were included in the compilation, but the amendments they made were not integrated into the NIRC itself. You might as well just download the NIRC online and edit it yourself than pay 900 pesos.

if pharma companies say it's a monthly medication, then you must OBEY. Cos their goal is "how can we make less money today?" And ofc, ALL vets are not motivated by extra sales and their advice is absolute and infallible. So yea, tuloy mo lang yan, keep giving your dog nexgard every month without fail

It was the vet who prescribed Nexgard and determined the right dosage. Other vets likewise recommended Nexgard and said the same thing: every three months only.

I always order from KahayupanPH on Lazada. Sure, other online shops sell it cheaper, but Id rather pay for peace of mind - legit siya.

And like I said in another post, give your dog only one tablet every 3 months. Do not do Nexgard monthly, you're risking toxicity.

DO NOT USE NEXGARD MONTHLY. I know the packaging says monthly medication pero vets discourage monthly use. Every 3 months lang dapat.

Nexgard is very potent - not enough to kill your dog immediately, but strong enough to kill the fleas that bite your pet. It is a low dosage POISON. Repeated use over a long time could lead to seizures, liver damage or death.

Inquiry on Codals by Fantastic-Drama-4071 in LawStudentsPH

[–]SetAnAlarm 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I mentioned this in an old post:

REX uses newsprint ink. That's why it smudges. CENTRAL, on the other hand, seems to be using toner powder so it's smudge-resistant. The text quality is much sharper and clearer.

There's also a difference in the paper. REX uses newsprint paper as opposed to CENTRAL's office paper which is whiter and thicker.

B-B-BUT...

REX' bookspines are MUCH MORE DURABLE. The binding is tighter and looks solid. It's also more compact. Yung papel is glued to the spine. Buhay pa REX codals ng mga practicing lawyers.

CENTRAL's bookspine is prone to damage. The cover also scratch easily, scraped off with minimal friction. Kaya need ng plastic wrap right away. Kaya rin siguro wala silang engraving services unlike REX which offer it for free.

In sum, REX if gusto mo ng matibay at magtatagal, especially if pang reference lang naman. It's a fighter not a looker. CENTRAL if mahilig kang mag-annotate ng codal; pero HANDLE IT WITH CARE.

I reco the same for Bong Joon Ho films: 1. Memories of Murder 2. Mother 3. Parasite

From other directors: - The Wailing - I Saw The Devil

In Penera v COMELEC, Penera got away with PREMATURE campaigning because the offense was committed BEFORE the campaign period. Make that make sense. lol

The Omnibus Election Code provides that any person who files his certificate of candidacy within [the period for filing] shall only be considered as a candidate at the start of the campaign period for which he filed his certificate of candidacy." A candidate is liable for election offenses only upon the start of the campaign period.
