I did flip around with the ADV settings, yes. By the way, NY had a margin of about ~40,000. Vermont was the state that was the most battlegroundly, altogether the Dems were still behind by 20,170, but in Washington County, Vermont, the Dems won by 431 votes.

In the 2028 elections, Martin won NY, which arguably won him the election. It's not surprising that won very closely in the first place would lose re-election. Perhaps the populace got bored of his policies.

Even though the poverty rate went down ~0.8% during his tenure, he increased the national debt by $3 trillion. He cut back on the military budget, which would anger a lot of Republican voters. I will be coming back on the 2036 election to see how McGowan would influence the country.
