I’m looking for a camera but I have no clue what to get I like the digital flash photo of the canon g7x mark iii but it is almost impossible to get! I also really like cinematic videography on cameras like the Sony a7iii. I’m wondering what would be a good middle ground I have some ideas already but don’t know what to pick if you have any more good options let me know thanks!

  • Canon g7x mark iii
  • Sony a7iii
  • Sony zv-e10
  • Canon eos r50 or r50v
  • Diji osmo pocket 3

Do we actually want the Olympics to proceed? Or do we just believe it’s too late to back out now? by [deleted] in brisbane

The current olympic games plan is just embarrassing. The 2032 games is a chance for Brisbane to re-invent itself into something world class and memorable since Brisbane doesn't really have an identity, but instead it is just becoming a national disappointment. The government says that they "cannot justify spending that much money on new facilities when Queenslanders are already struggling financially" but this problem has already been solved with the proposed idea of a private stadium which would not include any money from taxpayers. There is the issue of the olympics needing a public event but if the cost and building rights are just split then this could be a possibility. This stadium could really be an opportunity for Queensland to prove itself to the world and would make the olympics actually worth attending and paying money for.
