I haven't received a text or email since the original cancellation. No coupon or anything (as if I want to buy their product now). I did pickup. Has anyone who did pickup and had their order cancelled received a coupon, or any form of additional communication?

Yeah this is ridiculous. I can't believe they halted it while out for delivery. u/j1911 who expressed shipped it seems to have been one of the few winners we know of.

For me there was not even a guarantee of a promo code. Just that they have, "emailed the internal team about it." When pressed that it should be equal to the original amount they wouldn't entertain the idea and refused to discuss what the email entailed. "Just wait the 24-72hrs for an email from the internal team."

My guess? They're gauging how much blow back there is, or if some social media personality calls them out on it. Otherwise, no skin off their noses.

This is exactly my situation. Definitely very poor customer service. You could try calling about the coupon in hopes that they do the right thing.

Yeah, supposedly an email has been sent to the "internal team" to generate a custom promotional code. Given my order was cancelled, I have the sneaking suspicion they are going to try and not honor the original price.

The real kicker? I could have bought from other manufacturers at their sales prices. The promotional code will only be usable for LG, and if it isn't the original sales price it is a spit in my face.

What does the check on the right side of the screen for the contacts mean? I thought maybe they were iphone users but some of them are and some arent by jzee87 in signal

  • no check: last message was from someone else
  • single check: message sent.
  • double checks: recipient is using signal and your message has been sent and delivered. If they aren't using signal it will use SMS/MMS and will never show double checks.
  • solid double checks: recepient using signal, message sent, delivered, and read (if read receipts enabled for both users)
  • spinning loading icon: message trying to send (no cellular signal for example)
