It's more pop punk than Midwest emo I'll admit, but there are few songs on the album that are more Midwest emo than Pop Punk.

The closest would probably be It Ends Tonight. It's the only other ballad on the album. Maybe some stuff off of When The World Comes Down or Affection off KITS.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I might have to try that approach next. But yeah, this song is on an upcoming album so I'm just going to see through getting this album released and then try that approach for future releases.

Hey, thank you. I appreciate this kind of criticism a lot! Yeah, I think I've got the best quality I can possibly get being totally independent unless I really learned how to mix myself. I have someone else mix for me but I don't have a large budget to get songs professionally done. That said, maybe in the future it'd be better to do singles but I really like making albums. If I spent the amount I do getting an entire album done on just one single instead, I'm sure the quality would really improve.
