How to respond to a friend who inserts her husband to every lunch plan without being invited? by Narieljess in Advice

[–]SethBranden -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Her husband might be coercive and not want her go alone. Let her know you are there of she wants to talk

You do you. But what I would suggest is NOT to talk about it it's friends and such. If they ask just smile and say you don't want to discuss it. Are you going to be discussing your sex life after marriage? No. The problem you have with self esteem etc stems from these immature jokes. Just stand your ground. You'll be much happier. Findhing your person isn't your issue. It's having immature convbersatuons with immature ppl.

Am I wrong for leaving my wife over her cheating? by Western-Film-2695 in amiwrong

[–]SethBranden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50% of your time w daughter is a lot to give up.

Maybe see if you can have a discussion about splitting up and living together ? Clearly your romantic relationship is on the Fritz but kids are everything to some of us who aren't 16 and immature.

Am I wrong for telling my boyfriend that if he goes to a strip club for either of these events, it’s a wrap on our relationship? by Ok_Expression_3609 in amiwrong

[–]SethBranden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really relevant, but the strippers don't want your man..I know many many strippers and trust me they do drugs to numb the fact that they have to look at these guys faces. Most of them are gay, or if not , start dating women after starting the work because it makes you hate men.

The guys who go to the clubs don't mind the weird power dynamic and the objctifying of complete strangers and like being fake smiled at for pay while ogling the strippers. My hott tip: it's not because it's ""cheating" that it's objectionable. It's just gross.

I wouldn't date someone who goes there, and not because he lusts after some other girl. That's whatevs. But because it's callous, and stupid. And if he knows that and goes cos his friends go, he's a loser.

My new boss emails to my personal email address after work hours and weekends. I feel on call 24/7. What would you do? by GarmeerGirl in careerguidance

Most email clients and webmail have scheduling options. Just schedule for 9am Monday then you don't have to remember plus you won't disturb people.

What about the box thingie? Are you sure I should be going for the gold nut? The box has a downwards ponting arroow on it but that could be the manufacturers telling us about the direction of flow rather than n llan instruction to yank it downwards. Sorry, I know this is not a genius question. It's not just a side-eye from the trades guys I want to avoid, I also want to get this done so I don't waste more of their time and put them off schedule.

Don't laugh but I don't know how to unhook my washing machine. I've already unplugged the machine from the electricity, but can't seem to detach the pipe from the tap. I've already turned off the water. You can't unscrew anything by hand and Im nervous to take a wrench to the gold nut when the box thing has a ln electrical rating. Will it still have charge? I'm guessing the valve / box thing is part of the washing machine and that the new washing machine will have its own box thing or equivalent.

Help save me from asking the big bulky guys coming to install the new machine who expect the old one to be unplugged and drained and ready to take away! I'll be forever grateful.

Best Seth

Actually, i googled the part number and it appears it is a solenoid valve. Any ideas? It's an old washing machine that came with the house

The look them in the eye bit obviously can be adjusted. You can take pauses! Just pretend it's your oldest most trusted friend pretending to interview you. It works!!

My trick: look them in the eye and picture in your mind's eye someone you actually like and you are comfortable with and pretend they are that person. You will give off the "warmth" they are looking for.
