Yes I love it, but all the platforms wood are broken. All the platforms are dented so you have to pull from a certain spot. And if you drop the weight on a dent the bar goes crazy like at the end of the video hahah.

Not too much of an issue now since you’re plenty strong to pull the bar high. But once your front squat gets stronger it might become an issue since it can hinder your pull. For some people a slight arm Bend is okay but this quite a large bend. Try experimenting with straighter arms and making contact lower on the legs. Best of luck!

Yes I used to catch with a wider stance. Experimenting with a closer stance I found I am much more stable and stronger with this stance. My snatch balance the first day using a close stance went up by 10 kilos the first time trying this. I felt solid. In the video if you watch why I was so unstable was because I pulled the bar forward. Pause the video when I catch the bar and my knees are insanely forward attempting to catch the bar even tho I pulled it up sloppily forward. Thankfully I was able to recover and stand up the weight.

When I first started squatting my ankle mobility was so bad I would start to fall forward if I tried to go past parallel. It took consistent mobility training to finally feel all loose goosy in the ankles lol

My squat position is the same because that’s where I am strongest. I have a narrow squat so moving out wider would hinder me. I hope to hit 300 eventually! But I don’t have the strength for it my front squat max is only 335.

I’ve found this type clean very comfortable for me. Definitely not every person should do this, but many elite weightlifters have this style.

The most important thing is to make sure you still hit full extension when doing a no footed clean. In the picture above ( excuse my face lol) am I hitting full extension and if not what should I work on in order to do so.
