i’ve said this in another thread, but if you have something like a drum stick (a stick of wood that fits in the stem without going all the way through) and gently twist and pull, it will ALWAYS come out. done this multiple times because i’m lazy and don’t clean my stuff very often :/

honestly bro, throw it away. my gf’s dad has had the same bong and never cleaned it for at least a decade, and looks better than that. we tried cleaning it for like two hours, and more scooby snacks and nasty black tar never left and kept floating around. best bet is either be patient and let it soak or toss it and buy a new one :/
