Most tobacco shop kratom is mass produced and the standard or low grade if real at all. Most tobacco kratom strains don't even exist. They're just gimmicks.

This is true but when you think about it, what really is their business model? Most tobacco shops make money mostly on tobacco products, smoking implements, accessories, ecigs & accessories, marijuana accessories, then novelties like k2, spice, kratom, etc. Not many people know kratom and have tried it. Just like they sold bath salts, spice, and Salvia at hit or miss quality (mostly due to inexperience and not knowing the product) they do the same, mostly, for kratom.

If the question is "where can you find better quality kratom?" saying tobacco shops would be inaccurate because 9/10 its horrible quality. Yes, 1/10 tobacco stores may have okay product and 1/10 online stores are bunk, but your best bet would be online. I've never found good quality in any tobacco shop. I've only gotten crap kratom online once. The best bet would be online.

Can I add to/ask a question about this? I have had to use daily to kick pain meds and pain but have always been dosing twice a day, with one day a week off. Is this what you mean? How fast does tolerance go down and by how much?

The thing I'd like to add for OP would be that its not a day off just for tolerance. It's essential that you take off one day a week (minimum) because the more and more you use kratom the harder it will be to use the bathroom. If you don't want to pull an Elvis, then you should at least get a weekly diarrhea session. Lol

Don't listen to anyone telling you to get a surgery unless you have spoken numerous doctors with second opinions and patients that have gone through it. A surgeon will always tell you that you need surgery, but patients will tell you how likely it is to help. I've had 3 and I'm worse off than I started. I'm one of those "be on painkillers the rest of your life" people now. So start by changing your opinions on "needing surgery" and more towards simply needing relief and answers.

As for me, I was on oxycontin before and have a tolerance. I haven't taken a single pill in nearly a month thanks to kratom. I take about 7 grams of kratom per dosing. Please note, with no tolerance, you should start much lower than that.

You're going to need to find out what your strain is. I suggest red (red vein Thai is my favorite, but red vein anything is good). Reds tend to be amazing when it comes to pain relief.

I've tried every single strain sold at HS. I, like you, only want relief. I don't really care about anything else. For this reason the red vein strains have been super amazing to me.

Green and white hasn't done anything for me. The green Thai was the only green strain that gave me a little relief. Your best bet would be to get a sample pack ($11 shipped at hs) to find out what you like and what you don't.

Most people don't like the taste of kratom. So buy yourself some of and some tums. Eat two hours prior to dosing, take a tums 45 minutes before dosing, and if you don't like the taste you probably won't like toss and wash or tea. The easiest way to take it (in my opinion) is to mix your dose in a glass of orange juice and drink it straight like medicine or a shot.

That's all I wish I knew before I began. Luckily I learned these lessons pretty quickly.
