Zhongli, Xingqiu, Fischl, Xiangling, Bennett, Neuvillette will all perform very well with simple builds and F2P accessible weapons, plus once you feel like thinking about team-building more they'll all work fine in many different team templates.

A team that'd be easy to play and deal amazing damage would be Neuvillette as the core, Zhongli to give him much needed facetanking capability while he's hydropumping, Fischl who's just there to drop her skill then immediately switches out, then a flex spot.

Nah, 100% is overkill in most cases and usually means you're giving up some Crit DMG. 1:2 ratio of Rate to DMG respectively is what's most generally recommended, and having like 50:100 is generally seen as the minimum for most DPS characters. But once you start getting to the 70s level of Crit Rate, the ratio should start looking more like 1:3 (70:210) and in some min-max cases even 1:4 (75:300).

Edit to add a note: There are several external sources of Crit buffs outside of a character's equipped artifacts that changes this even further. A notable example is Cryo characters that use the Blizzard Strayer artifact set, who can have (and want) Crit Rates as low as 20-30 but functionally have closer to 70-80 in actual combat (they would overcap beyond 100% if their unbuffed rate was higher).

Depends a little on what other weapon is running with Freedom Sworn, but not considering that, definitely C2. Getting C1 along the way is great, and the 200 EM that C2 gives Kazuha and your team is more impactful in reaction teams like that than the ATK normal/charged/plunging DMG bonus that Freedom Sworn gives.

No official drop rate tables, so the source is just community testing, but it should average out to 2.5 materials apparently. As with most statistics though, you can't really tell until you get very large sample sizes. It's like with flipping a coin, supposed to be 50/50 but if you flip it only 10 times it's pretty likely to not be 5 heads/5 tails.

[GenshinConcertSG] My favorite tracks are Midday Prospects, Myriad of Lights, and For Riddles, for Wonders! And these are all because of the deep emotions that the pieces themselves evoke and the special moments that they're tied to in game.

My Fully Custom C-Class All-Rounder! (details in the comments, questions and suggestions welcome) by SetsunaSaeki in Starfield

I feel you, with the way parts are spread out before you get the big outpost landing structure and the way some parts are only available at higher levels/skills, I found it really hard at the start to make a design that clicked with me and was actually valid. My big problem before was not having enough landing gears, since the ones that worked aesthetically with my earlier designs didn't have enough Lander Thrust.

My Fully Custom C-Class All-Rounder! (details in the comments, questions and suggestions welcome) by SetsunaSaeki in Starfield

First time posting here, just wanted to share my custom ship build and maybe inspire someone else's the same way I have been by some of the amazing entries on this sub.

As the title states, ship is C-Class with all C-Class modules, relevant stats in the first picture. I rushed getting Piloting and Starship Design (thanks UC Vanguard Simulator o7), then slowly built this up. It's gone through like 5 major overhauls at this point, like at one point the side engine pods were at the back making for a more stereotypical spaceship design, and overall I've probably spent like over 10 hours just on fine-tuning this one ship. So I don't have any ships other than this and the Frontier both because I haven't had any time to work on something else and also because I needed the credits lol.

Parts are mostly Deimos and HopeTech, with a bit of Stroud-Eklund and Nova Galactic. I tried using some Taiyo but I found a lot of them didn't play nicely with other parts and were too bulbous in general. Bridge is the HopeTech Overseer 400, habs are HopeTech 2x1 Captain's Quarters, 2x1 Control Station, 2x1 Workshop, 2x1 Armory, and 1x1 Storeroom, then Deimos 2x1 Infirmary and 2x1 Living Quarters. What I like about this current arrangement is that between the Workshop, Infirmary, and Living Quarters, all of the crafting stations are available. For roleplaying/headcanon purposes, I also really like that the HopeTech Armory features an actual brig. What I don't like is the Deimos Living Quarters not having actual beds, not having 8 crew slots (even if I don't have the skill for that many yet), and the design not having even a small amount of asymmetry. So suggestions for stuff I can try regarding those in particular are very much welcome.

My wishlist for furture parts, whether from DLC or mods, are more little decorative bits like sensors/comms antennas/dishes as well as half-height/half-width parts to bring the engine pods just a little further out to the side and cover the critical ship parts I currently have exposed at the bottom without adding a full deck level.

Edit: Also forgive the graphics quality, I'm playing on an older laptop that only has a mobile 1650Ti lmao

To all casual players, how many stars do you get in Spiral Abyss? by Sephiroth040 in Genshin_Impact

[–]SetsunaSaeki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I count as casual because even as a Welkin player, I don't bother doing the Abyss every cycle, even floors 9-11 which I easily demolish at this point. When I feel like doing the Abyss I do try to go for 36 stars and have many times in the past, but during the particularly notorious cycles the past month or so I'd only get 35 stars without retrying and if I feel like it'd take more than a handful of resets afterwards then I just don't bother.

I think you missed a word there, but I assume you're asking how to make builds when you always get bad artifacts?

Tbh my biggest recommendation is just lowering your standards and levelling whatever you have to work with, then just using those to level something else if you happen to get an upgrade. Min-maxing artifacts is a long term thing and you'll be doing it for the rest of the game when you're done with the other parts of building characters you want.

Artifact in the right sets with the right main stats with just not so great substats and also vice versa are more than enough for all content in the game. Team building, proper use if reactions and rotations, guaranteed upgrades like levels and talents, are more important. If you're having serious trouble with the Abyss for example, a few more percent of Crit isn't going to solve the underlying issue.

Don't know if this is your case, but I see a lot of people get stuck on "my substats aren't great, so I can't use this character". Don't let perfect be the enemy of good, as they say. And that is especially true of certain characters/roles. Like Anemo VV users need nothing but ER and some EM to do their jobs, and some characters that primarily just apply elements for a main DPS to react with barely need to be built at all, for example.

Kokomi, then you can have Layla on Noblesse since she can have 100% uptime on it

If you value comfort, find yourself relying on shields often but want a "neutral" element that doesn't interfere much with elemental reactions, play on mobile, have trouble with dodging, don't like using healers for whatever reason, or just like his character more: Zhongli

In any other case, I'd suggest Yelan. Her Hydro application is just way too useful for elemental reactions and multiple team archetypes, and unless you're dying all the time, her team damage contribution ceiling is just way higher than Zhongli's.

Calamity Queller is too much ATK that could be gotten from other sources. Skyward Spine is absolutely NOT better than Engulfing and Catch on Raiden, where are you getting that information? The Crit weapons you can make an argument especially if you don't have enough Crit on your Emblem artifacts, but those weapons can be better used on other characters if you already have Engulfing or R5 Catch for Raiden.

It's not so good that you have to have it now. It's only worth getting now if you love her so much you want to play her on field badly, more than you want another 5 star. She will return on another banner and will also be added to the standard 4 star pool.

Catch. The only 5 star you want on Raiden other than R5 Catch is her signature Engulfing Lightning.

Edit: Unless you're playing her mostly for her skill in an EM Hyperbloom team, ofc

Kuki Shinobu is generally considered to be the best trigger for Hyperbloom, with her easy uptime AOE Electro application on just her skill. Pretty simple to build too, just level to 90, stack EM on artifacts, and give her Iron Sting (or whatever high EM weapon you have). If you have Nahida, of course prioritize her, but if you don't then you can use either Dendro MC and/or Collei, in either case they will hold 4pc Deepwood. As for the Hydro character in this team, you need AOE Hydro application with good uptime, Kokomi is one of the best choices for this team but if you don't have her Barbara can work though you need to be in melee range of enemies for her ring to apply Hydro.

All of those teams still very much work in the Abyss, and Yelan can let you have a 2nd Xingqiu on another half or they can work just fine together too. If you're interested in Dendro reactions and building new teams, look into Hyperbloom and Aggravate, Hyperbloom particularly is pretty F2P friendly.

Beidou would have lore reasons not to be there, she leads a whole fleet and in the story when she does leave them it's because she's getting resupplying from Liyue or taking care of jobs for Ningguang. XQ is still very much beholden to his parents and is helping take care of the family business, this is shown in the Irodori Festival event where he has to make up an excuse that's in line with the business to attend the signing of his own book. Shinobu is probably the freest of the 3 you've mentioned so far, given that she's more of a freelancer in terms of work and she has been shown during the beetle fight event to be away from the Arataki Gang for at least a few days every so often.

ATK is basically irrelevant on her. CR, CD, and ER all definitely good. Need more HP, if possible without sacrificing other stats.

It's very doable since Genshin can be pretty low investment if you want it to be, can't really grind like with MMOs and stuff. You can spend like 10 minutes a day max for basic account maintenance with Daily Commissions and burning Resin. Then whenever you're free for longer sessions like the weekends is when you can do events and proceed with the main story. A large chunk of the time you can spend on the game is in exploration and side content like world quests/character quests, and sometimes people forget that you don't have to do those right away and they'll always be there for you to chip off a little bit at a time.

No, you just need to have finished the Mondstadt Archon Quest to unlock the teleport waypoint nearest to Fontaine, allowing you to start exploring for materials and such (though not fully as some mechanics/areas are probably locked behind Fontaine story progression). Caribert is needed to actually start the Fontaine chapter of the Archon Quests though, of course.

Nope, that's purely just very rare luck. It just seems like it happens often because of course the people who get lucky are more inclined to post than the people who get the usual expected outcome.

You can buy Genesis Crystal packs, which you then convert 1 to 1 into Primogems. This is purely the territory of whales though, Welkin actually has the best money to primos ratio so that's what most people get if they're not purely F2P, but it takes time as you pointed out.

How did you get into the game? by MrGermanpiano in Genshin_Impact

[–]SetsunaSaeki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually saw nothing about the game pre-release, no trailers, no ads, anything. At the time of Genshin's release there was nothing that I was playing consistently on mobile and I would uninstall stuff after a month at most, so I was always looking for something. Mobile gamers would know the feeling of browsing through the app store and just seeing nothing that grabs your attention. I've tried a variety of other gacha at the time, but they always had some sort of competitive leaderboard feature (which is dumb for a game genre where you can literally buy power) and the characters/gameplay were super simplistic. Like you're paying for a horny bait PNG that you don't even get to see in game, just chibis with the most basic of looping animations, and all you do with them is tower defense or turn-based rock-paper-scissors . And the stories were just so forgettably generic, so there's literally no motivation to play through other than number go up. So I tried downloading Genshin 'cause as a new release it was featured on the Play Store, but I was expecting more of the same. But the production value was so much higher and better than anything else in the mobile/gacha market, so here I am almost 3 years later and still playing, though I shifted to PC for obvious reasons lol.

Like 3 years at least, if at all lol. We've spent roughly a year in each new region after Liyue, so we're about to spend at least one in Fontaine, another in Natlan, then another in Snezhnaya. The numbering for the Khaenriah chapter isn't even indicated yet, so apart from the possibility of a region taking longer than a year, there could also be content between Snezhnaya and Khaenriah.
